It's so precious how the dog came to a halt and stayed with his owner to see if he was all right, when he fell! You have to be in decent shape to do this. The kinesiology support tape can only hold together just so much.

It doesn’t matter that the handler feel the pup did so good he was so well trained and his owner and him are the perfect duo they both got right back up and went again that’s amazing.

Same, my Coach was the best dog I ever knew. I was so crushed when he died, but i think I'm finally in a place where I want another dog more than I fear the pain of losing one again.
@@zumeraaa look at his calf. He's taped up from a previous strain or injury. Guy needs to do agility training himself, he can't move the way he needs to. Some people have soft ankles, the weight doesn't help, but either way he just proved at the height of performance his body failed him. Back to training to meet his dog on a level performance field.
I have had a Boston in my life since way before I was even a thought in my mom's eye. My grandfather used to breed them in the 1920's -40's. My momma Boston has outlived two of her pups and at 14 3/4 years old is still the best! She is blind, has CHF and had back surgery a few years ago but is still our sweetie.
I love the name! It is so fitting that his name is Ripple! Our names and words are powerful and his name is exactly what it means. He gives off a ripple effect filled with Love, grace and humility. Not to mention such a loyal boy to never leave his dads side! That is a great lesson and ripple effect for us all to remember. I think most people are missing the fact that the dude was more concerned about falling on his dog than the fact that he fell. Everyone with small dogs knows what I am trying to say.
Why does the dog not get a re-do if the handler accidentally interferes with the run? I don't know anything about this kind of stuff or the rules. But I feel like it wasn't the dog's fault so why not let him run again?
I guess because they’re a team. And otherwise, if a handler noticed the dog had messed up or was going too slow, they could intentionally interfere with the run so the dog gets a do-over

Plus everyone can look back and see what happened before the fall and I'm sure someone would notice that they just so happened to fall after the dog had messed up. Are the scores and times they get only determined by the dog's performance, or are there points for the handler's performance as well? Like I said, I don't really know anything about these events.
@@Steviemarie502 It's a performance by both the dog and the handler - some rich dog owners hire professional handlers to run their dogs and increase their chances of winning something. The handler is demonstrating their skill at training and coordinating the dog on the agility course. Both dog and handler need to complete the course. Although most of these dogs can do the agility course with their eyes closed by the time Crufts rolls around each year, they're suppposed to follow orders and demonstrate obedience. (Human egos designed this competition - I agree, give Ripple another go!)
