Gojo is a specialist
Specialists are independent and charismatic.They won't say anything important about themselves and will refrain from making close friends. However, because of their natural charisma that attracts others, they are always surrounded by many people.

Nen I not a technique... it is the all-encompassing name for the art form that is manipulating your aura.

@joseaugustosoriano5094 Hatsu at its simplest means to act and encompasses attacking. Usually people call their ability their Hatsu but it technically isn't, not fully.
Gojo would be in the manipulator category since his innate technique "Limitless" allow him to control and distort space itself. Megumi would be in the specialist category since his innate technique "10 shadows" have shikigami that have abilities that would put them in other Nen categories.
Gojo is a Emitter Specialist. Alot of specialist like Pitou has more than one category.
Yeah a lot of people have said that in the comments I can definitely see your point
no matter what nen type a person is they can use the other types to various degrees of proficiency/efficiency. they aren't locked into the one nen type, its just the one they can use the most efficiently and the most naturally proficient at using. and specialists are people with nen ability's that have conditions and restrictions that allow them to use all nen types with max efficiency.
I like to think that gojo would be a specialist solely because of his broken abilities. And he is quite charismatic too.
Yeah for sure, I think him being a Transmuter allows him to retain who he is naturally which is quite playful. However, with the added depth of being a Specialist when his he reveals his six eyes, where he shows those characteristics of being charismatic and a lone wolf

Conjuration is still a part of it though no? Since the ability is Holy Chain. All of Kurapika’s abilities are chain based aside from maybe Dolphin
yeah you are right but kurapika doesnt need to use conjuration in order use his enhancement abilities so if he wants (and really really tries and trains) he can come up with new hatsu that allows him to heal without chains
@@boozados think of it as a catalyst he doesnt need to use chains to use abilities but it makes it SİGNİFİCANTLY easier for him since having additional hatsu besides chains is very hard to begin with

Also think megumi could've stayed a conjurer because of hes jaded like kurapika but manipulation was also good but for his technique a specialist gaining both conjuration and manipulation he also very independent

Top take, I didn’t think of it like that but for sure he’d be able to manipulate space like that. It’s only after seeing applications of Nen more in depth did I realise how wild they could be😭
You dont understand specialists at all. They dont have access to all the catgeories. They are just specialist and have to deal with all the basic limitations of nen, like where they sit on the nen ring.
Specialists as a category is "anything that does not fit into the other 5". Specialist abilities can break the rules or nen and do things the other categories would never be capable of even if you used all 5 in one ability.
Kurapika's specialist ability is to gain 100% use of all the categories, but that is just him. Any other specialist would only get about 40% efficiency with enhancement techniques.
Specialist often have very unique abilities that dont make sense at all when you just look at the basic 5 categories. Like seeing the future.
