Dean Jones from Austrailia had more in common with Martin Crowe from New Zealand. In terms of batting, both had been very gifted and stylish stroke-makers who enjoyed considerable success from '80s to early '90s. While Crowe did it with more conventional elegance, Jones did it with a bit more aggression thus compromising even the conventions at times. In terms of their deaths too, both passed away way too early in their 50s .... RIP.
