God bless this man, he's very strong at his age if he can still stand on his feet after falling 10 meters from his roof. He can be a big inspiration to everyone.

I think the clue is in what his wife said...The ladder slid down so he didn't actually fall a direct 30ft. Still, his guardian angels were looking out for him that day.
@@user-rl6wr2ny7f I fell from about 5 meters to dirt with some short weeds backwards. Aside from getting the wind knocked out of me and feeling a bit sore in my back, there was no damage. Not even a bruise. Funny thing is, the concrete slab that separates the dirt from the walkway was like 2 fingers from where my head landed. So yea, back of my head could have exploded like a pinata if i was unlucky and hit the corner of that raised concrete slab. I just laid there looking at the blue sky for like a few minutes contemplating my life lol, no one even noticed as i laid there. So yea, the way you fall and where you fall ultimately determines the result.
@@user-rl6wr2ny7f It happened so quickly it was pretty much like a surprise. I didn't have the time to think something like 'oh shit i'm gonna fall' or something like that. Felt there was nothing under me and a very brief moment of that falling feeling you get in your stomach(hard to explain), the next moment found myself lying on the ground with wind knocked out of me. I didn't even have the chance to tense up. And yea, it took a bit for everything to catch up to me and realize what happened. It’s real, these guys are critical care paramedics (a specialties that deal with only the most life threatening injuries/issues) specially HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) who use helicopters to reach patients and get them to hospital faster. It’s probably the most competitive and desired job for most paramedics so only the best make it.
A patient with a potential spinal injury, treated like this, is absurd!!! How can they get him to his feet after such a fall??! What procedures do they follow?? Crazy!!
They address this-- while they would have liked to put him on a spinal board, there was no way to get him safely onto a board in such a tight space. The safest thing for them was to carefully guide him out then secure spine
These are highly trained doctors, extra head and neck checks were probably done off camera. They wouldn’t do something which would harm the person more. UK have some of the best trained doctors in the world!
the fact that the man is even alive is a miracle
It’s crazy that he didn’t have any serious injuries. It still must have been traumatizing for him and his family though

Wow. I can’t believe he survived but so glad he did. A local teen fell a similar distance at a national park this week and he didn’t survive 😢
Why did this show up on TH-cam just as I’m about to go up on the roof tomorrow morning to fix a wind noise destroying my ceiling 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ ffs 😂
Lol
be careful! have someone hold the ladder for you 👍🏻
LOL well good luck
Excellent job great story to shared lessons learned hope you're feeling better

He is soo lucky.
10m is an absolutley insane height to fall from, especially onto a picket fence.
Dude has +1000 armour
Man he is Unbelievably LUCKY to have only needed stitches! Wow I thought for sure he had major injuries. Maybe buy a lotto ticket.

Some people when they get older are too confident in their own abilities.
If it wasn't for his wife trying to suppress the bleeding this could have been so much worse...
I fell during work about 10 meters landed on my back thankfully on some freshly moved soil so just got a nasty bruise on my whole back
That must have hurt.

I feel so bad
I never clicked on a video uploaded so early before
Why did they have him turn his neck but then be worried about him holding it completely still?
Like they said, to check for a skull fracture
What is this episode?
Wow how amazing no broken bones! No more ladders, get the kids or a company to do it!
Get the kids to do it? A 10m fall will deal permanent damage to anyone.
