I enjoy the Airbnb's. I feel like a local for a bit. I enjoy getting things to fix for breakfast or other meals. I feel less rushed. It's so fun. Great recommendations. Thanks.😊
Love watching your videos, you sure know Rome, we are off there in January to celebrate my 50th, off the back of your videos we are staying in campo de fiori, we are from the UK and love Italy, we married there 9 years ago in Sorrento and had our honeymoon in Sicily. Keep up the good work and keep giving us your brilliant reviews, buying your guide this weekend 👍
Never stayed in an airbnb. All the added fees made it seem too gimmicky to me. Was in Rome a few weeks ago and stayed at the Hotel Barocco in Piazza Barberini. Boutique hotel but my room was 345sq ft. with 1.5 bathrooms. Breakfast was free as well. Not sure how much it cost, because I got a package deal on Orbitz and booked way in advance. You always have great info on Rome. Thanks.
Try an Airbnb one time in Rome. The added fees fluctuate and some are more reasonable than others. Usually if you stay 3 or more days the average cost for cleaning and BNB added fees are usually still less than a comparable hotel per night in Rome. Picking a high rated Airbnb is important, Not just because it is better accommodations but you also get a good host that will communicate well with you so when you arrive in Rome you are not stuck outside a locked building wandering what to do. I have been there. A good host can really make a difference and and home rated well with many reviews offers a good host. Just things to consider. Thanks for watching!
What a fantastic video!! Those picks are just gorgeous & I will be looking closer at them now using your links, for a possible trip in 2026. Thanks for sharing your expertise & honest opinions - VERY much appreciated 🙏🙏
I would say if you do come across an airbnb with no reviews check to see if the hosts has other airbnb's and see what the ratings are for those. It should give an indication on how well the newer bnb will be.
good point as a good host is very important but if you book early you should have a good selection of places with many reviews to see. I still prefer seeing reviews
I have been to Venice a few time but have yet to stay in an Airbnb that would be worth mentioning. I do know there are tons to choose from if you book early. Having said that I would try to stay in the vicinity of the Realto Bridge. Seems central, but there are no bad area of Venice
Hello my friend , i just reserved the One in largo Argentina, thanks to your video i Didn’t hesitate ( although this will be the first time ever I rent an Airbnb) . Would you have any additional tips ? Thanks again !! ❤
This Airbnb is a great first pick! You will love it. Before arriving get to know what is all around you. So much is so close! Don't forget to visit Pizza Florida!
This was a really good video. You showcase some excellent properties. We're planning another trip in 2026. Rome is on the wishlist. But we'd been dreaming about several days to a week in a villa in Tuscany with at least another couple. Any advice there? We just got home from Europe a few days ago, and we're still trying to adjust to PST.
You can't go wrong with a villa in Tuscany. Reach out to the owner of the last Airbnb I featured. He told us he has a very special villa he rents in Tuscany and was telling us about it but we have never taken him up on it. The way he talked about it I am sure it is special. Also Tuscany is beautiful but not so much when it is super hot. Avoid June, July, Aug. Spring is the best, March, April in my opinion. Thanks for watching
@@RozierRoma Thanks for the tip. Are you referring to the very last property in the video in Florence with the 2 rooftop terraces? We like to stay in Airbnb properties because of the kitchens. Yes, I agree that the peak season is not for us. Although we're from California, we enjoy the cooler weather and lighter crowds. Early spring and mid autumn are our favorite times to go. We truly appreciate your intel!

I totally agree! I just have a much better vibe overall than a hotel in most cases.

@@wastenotwantnot6754 There is one more right after the one with 2 terraces. The one that a Medici saw his lover from.
Recently in Italy. Your info on Roma was helpful. Thank you. Do you have any AirBnbs for the Almalfi Coast or Puglia?
Not yet! I have never spent the night on the Amalfi Coast. We Use Sorrento as a base for there.
@ any AirBnb suggestions for Sorrento?
