My god man why are you not the most popular guy in hunting! Your the real deal and can explain things to me better than I can explain them to myself. It’s rare a podcast host is as good at hunting than the guest. I wish nothing but the best for you brother! Stick with it! There is no better.
Nailed it dude....I don't run cameras.... So gage deer tracks based off of width from side to side ( left to right foot) and length of stride front to back.Find a good track and back track it to where he was.
hi beau, question, im ed from New Jersey, is there any deer in voorhees state forest. or stokes state forest. and how do you find big bucks in New Jersey. thanks ed
Good stuff.. Its tuff in big woods to find their beds, its seems they can flop anywhere. I'm out scouting a lot and almost year round and to actually find where Bucks bed even if I got them in daylight I can't seem to pinpoint anything solid.
Spartan Forge will show trends of wind for past months that I use for looking for likely bedding spots based on the predominant winds for that month, but for specific days looking at trail cam data or sightings, I use weather underground.
Awesome! Keep these coming
great info even for non mountian hunters
Thanks Robert!

I love these specific q&a man it's like i asked the question myself! I use your information and my own intel i feel a little more confident
Glad to hear it! Thank you very much. Happy new year!
How do you find the bedding when there using it. Im always nervous of running him out of his bed and ruining my hunt
Big woods/mountain buck bedding seems to be more of a fluid than a solid. These podcasts help conceptualize this process to figure out where to start.
Great way of looking at it! There’s no absolute with it in my opinion.

Thank you! Ya it’s tough. I would hear others talking about it in different places and just couldn’t replicate it with success.
What app or website are you using to find wind direction from a past date?

I like them but I’m bad at social media so all I can do is leave a comment!
