    My addiction is quashed for another episode :D I noticed that you've packed my paints and varnish yourself today, so I'll be moving on with mine, shortly! The little picture of you is quite amusing in the email :D

    Just wondering what happened to the final episodes. Thanks for the tutorials. Will be building that very kit once it arrives by following your videos. First attempt at a tank.

    "slidey-uppy bit" - TECHNICAL TERM LOL
    Was looking forward to the tools part. I am seeing SO MANY Millennium Falcon greebles in this build ;) Love the way the red brown can be so versatile just with a dot of water. Those tools look awesome!
    One question - you have little scratches and scrapes on the exposed metal parts of the tools, say around the edges of the axe-head, were these dry-brushed with a lighter metallic colour once everything else was painted, or painted on like chipping?

      Darn it .. You spotted my secret .. I don't give everything away you know.... But yes it's just a simple dry brush with a lighter metallic colour to show wear

      Cool, I thought so, you've done it really well, it looks super realistic :)

    So how easy do you think it would be to radio control the vehicle and display the interior seperately?

    • @skipperted
      @skipperted 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've no idea how easy it would be to motorise this kit as I've never done it... But it would be a shame to leave out all that detail even if displayed seperately .. I'd probably go for a kit without interior detail and put a motor in that

      If such a kit existed I'd be more kin to do that, as I am currently doing with Hobby Boss' 1/16th Tiger I and T-34/85. But, as far as I can tell, the only worthwhile PzIV in that scale that's reasonably affordable is the Trumpeter kit featured here.

      +TestECull the only PzIV I know of them is a tamiya one which comes with RC as part of the kit

      skipperted IT's also pricier than my pickup truck. I can't afford $700+ on a model tank, hell $250 is stretching my luck. I usually work in 1/35th but RCing tanks that size isn't the easiest thing in the world like it is with 1/16th.

      +TestECull yeah bud they ain't cheap.... But as for this kit I've no idea how it could be motorised... But if you ever do is love to see it in action

    I would have not glued the gun into place or the upper hull. That way they could be removed easily to show the inner details.
