Also thought Maya looked like Lara Croft. Also keep thinking she's like some kind of cross between Lesslie Knope and April Ludgate from Parks and Rec. April loves animals and hates most humans (or so she claims) and Lesslie is just the most ridiculously dedicated to doing good in the face of this shitshow of a world, and somehow full of enthusiasm. Okay, I don't know, I just found this channel and I'm kind of addicted.

Really love what Alveus is doing educating people about the pet trade and Maya mentioning it frequently on her videos, media usually leaves it at “animals are so much happier on the wild” and people respond with “but are they though?” Seeing how Alveus has multiple animals that where from the pet trade and Maya explaining how not only do exotic animals make awful pets but also is unfair to be so is nice, really refreshing

From some guys I've met, they revealed that they didn't want to be made fun of for being too "feminine" which I thought was unfortunate, being kind to animals shouldn't be seen as feminine or masculine or be the role of a certain human gender. We can all care for & love them. I'm glad your wife and you love animals. Keep being positive!
