This is not due to Global Warming... If you do a little research or live in the area you'd know that this is due to fires in 2012 in the Waldo Canyon area just west of Manitou Springs. The vegetation is still almost non-existant and as long as these flash floods occur without vegetation regrowing Manitou stands a chance of having to be rebuilt in a large way.
