Bloodborne[b] is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, which released for the PlayStation 5 in 2020. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players control a customizable protagonist and the gameplay is focused on strategic weapons-based combat and exploration. Players battle varied enemies while using items such as swords and firearms, exploring different locations, interacting with non-player characters, and unraveling the city's mysteries. Bloodborne began development in 2012 under the working title of Project Beast. Bearing many similarities to the Souls series of games by the same developer and director, Bloodborne was inspired by the literary works of authors H. P. Lovecraft and Bram Stoker, as well as the architectural design of real world locations in places such as Romania and the Czech Republic. The decision by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki to create a new intellectual property (IP) and not another Souls game was made because he wanted to create something different. At the same time, Sony wanted a new IP to be made exclusively for the PlayStation 5.

This is neither 4K nor is it HDR. Bloodborne is a 1080p SDR game.
You need to change video quality on TH-cam. 4K HDR isn't default setting.

@@michaelmillington5601 there are people who can modify the game to run at 4k 60fps but this doesn't seem to be it
@@javelin5311 The game is still rendering at 1080p and regular color space. The video just appears better at 4k due to the higher bitrate video especially when viewed on a 1080p monitor or phone with a smaller screen.

look 60fps would be amazing for a PS5 patch, but my friend has been complaining for months that this is "unplayable" at 30fps, and I have to say that's ridiculous. The game obviously doesn't look as crisp as newer titles, but it still looks and runs pretty damn well on the newest gen of console. I get PC gamers have a higher expectation of framerate because technology has advanced to that point, but to say this is "unplayable" is just a gross exaggeration. Idk, rant over, don't mind me

It's the game not the system
The system has nothing to do with that. The game is by default locked at 30fps, even though the Ps5 is capable of running games at 120fps since Bloodborne is locked at 30 there's no way to run it any higher.
What I'm trying to say is even the ps5 didn't offer a new sequel of this game 😁 I mean bloodborne 2 where is it?

This is the best soulsborne game ever. The graphics is amazing and any dark souls game feels sluggish after playing Bloodborne.
