How funny you showed your 15 lb black and white cat Oliver. My black and white 15 pounder cat is my buddy Fido. When he was a baby someone found him in a box alongside the road in Laporte….he was so little and lonely. But he grew. And he thrived. And we had to put him on a diet because he thrived up to 18 lbs. So he follows us around the house and helps us do everything including stitching and bothering our little girl cat Delia. Sounds like your summer camp will be fun for stitching.
My mom thought me to cross stitch many years ago. But I stoped for 30 years. Now I'm stitching again. My fur buddy is a blue healer named buddy he never far from my feet in my craft room. Great to see you again. Love the Quaker. Thanks for sharing .have a great week 🙂❣️
Attempt 2 -- My stitching companion for the past 13 years is a 23 lb, long haired , orange and white bundle of joy named Cannoli(his markings remind me of my favorite dessert). Either he is on the couch or laying on the floor in front of me while I'm stitching. If I'm quilting , he is keeping my fabric warm next to sewing machine. Cannoli has always kept an eye on me, especially when I was on chemo for 3.5 years (i'm off now) . Sherri, thank you for your videos..you are so generous and kind ..plan on participating in camp this year...
I taught my 10 year old granddaughter. She was so excited to be using a real pattern and wants to take her project on her summer vacation to finish. So sweet!

My stitching buddies are my two elderly Shih Tzu mix rescues. They follow me around and snooze wherever I land. ❤️ They don’t shed so I don’t have to contend with fur in my stitching very often. 😀
My stitching buddy is a sweet black cat named Shirley. She can make it difficult to hold my stitching and have the magnifier where I can see through it. Sometimes she's more interested in my threads than I would like! I would love to have a puppy as a stitch buddy too. I really enjoy the calm cafe channels. Some of them do have movement like people walking down the street and steaming cups. Sometimes if you scroll down they may have object search challenge, like find 3 coffee cups, or something like that. I love your Quaker house project on the havana fabric. It is so striking. My two stitching buddies are cats, 19 years old and 12 years old. They love laying on my lap while I stitch and force me to stay seated for longer than I should. I do have other things that I should be doing. I am beyond excited about this summer’s stitch camp. I love the new challenge for each month as it keeps me motivated and being a part of this group makes me feel like I am stitching with friends in my home. You have been a bad (or good) influence on me. I now visit antique shops and look at the possibilities of items. I bought an old white divided tray with handle and white wooden bowl. I went to an embroidery shop and bought pin pillow patterns and other small pillow patterns for the bowl and tray. Now I need to shop for fabric and silks. I haven’t worked with silks so that’ll be my something new for August. So looking forward to stitching with everyone! By the way, I also got a friend started stitching on plastic canvas to make luggage tags. A proud moment for me.

No, I don't have a stitching buddy. A few years ago, I was big into crochet. My daughter would bring her little poodle , Beau to visit often. He seemed to really enjoy sitting with me while I crocheted. He was a such a cute PUPPY
Hudson, our 12 year old Norwich terrier is my stitching buddy. Always faithful to follow me upstairs to quilt or stitch. Love the bags! I'm a "bag lady", too! The fabric reminds me of Marimeko that I used a long time ago.

I am self taught in my cross stitching1 I always in the past took along extra floss and aida cloth and also a couple of small hoops along w/me when I accompanied a friend or family member to the hospital for some reason and ended up teaching young people who was bored, the art of cross stitch...It was a real pleasure to viewing them w/their treasures still working on their project that I left w/them along w/the new found knowledge of cross stitch!!
I stitch with Louie my GOLDEN RETRIEVER….No longer a PUPPY so he sits on the loveseat with me and pushes me over more and more as time passes so I am squished up against the side🤪 I plan on joining bin for camp again this year it was so fun last year! I finished 3 projects and was pleased with that! I have homework for a retreat at the Silver Needle un July…I have to do a Santa for a finishing class before the actual retreat starts so it’s perfect!

I stitch with my rescue dog who thinks he is a lapdog and certainly is not. In fact when he decides to sit on my lap there is not any room for me to stitch -- he is that big at 50 #'s!!. He is not a puppy at 5 years old. I am working on the Quaker Christmas 1 and love stitching primarily with one color. Camp sounds so exciting and fun this summer. Cannot wait. I love the idea of the bag designated for this project. I am going to make a bag and attach the badges -- just like you. Thanks for the great floss tube.
I have two stitching buddies…a cat (Loki) and my basset hound, Bailey. Our oldest son gave me Bailey for my birthday two years ago…granted most puppies are adorable, but a basset hound puppy is beyond adorable with big floppy ears and huge paws! I’m constantly removing the hair off my projects, but having the companionship of furbies is so worth it!
I wish I had a stitching buddy but all our fur babies have gone on to heaven. I would love to have a puppy as a buddy! I’m seriously thinking about joining summer camp this year - for the first two months I’d likely choose a Christmas ornament for each month. I have 2 wonderful furry stitching buddies. Jazzy and Bailey. Jazzy is an American Eskimo mix and Bailey is a chocolate Lab/Golden Retriever mix 😍. Both of them I got when they were puppies. You've made great progress on both of your large projects! I've had many rescue feline and canine buddies in the past but I'm without a pal at present. When I visit family members I'm joined by a sweet kitten, an African Grey parrot who tells me I'm doing a great job and a teenage Golden Retriever. I'm looking forward to a visit next week with my friend and her new puppy.

She takes such good care of him. He’s more snuggly overall but strangely isn’t a lap kitty. She doesn’t care for being picked up and held but she’ll sit in your lap! Oliver is such a handsome boy! I am so happy for camp! I will be working on a Prairie Schooler Santa for the holiday in June. I am searching for a puppy for my parents as their dog passed away last April. I unfortunately don't have pets because I am allergic to them. I would love to have a cat, but after spending a couple days at my parent ' s home, I am miserable. I really taught myself to cross stitch however I did spend a lot of time with my grandmother who was a cross stitcher. I have two springer spaniels - one is a pupply and the other is 13. They usually sleep near me while I stitch!

My face lite up when you showed the giveaway project bag! The red truck looks so much like the red pick up truck I drove while in high school (so many fun memories with that truck) and I have a new puppy in my house. He is a 5mth old Pomapoo named, Pete. He does a great job of napping in his bed while I work on hand sewing or knitting projects.
Sadly, all my stitching buddies have passed. My kitty, Marigold, last summer and my puppy, Wrigley, a yellow lab, passed in March. I do have a pair of wild ducks that visit our yard everyday. LOL
I started the love of cross stitching at very young age.. and I have a-baby named Sam or Sammy who want my undivided attention while I stitch. I do having a stitching buddy!! His name is Doolittle 🙂 He is one of a pair of littermate dachshunds we got four years ago after I lost my beloved Cavalier, Keillor. So, he is technically an adult but at only 10 pounds, he’s still a puppy to me❤️
That puppy bag is adorable. We also love those red pickup trucks. We use them in decor a lot. We live on a hobby farm so I have a bunch of stitching buddies. They take turns. My most constant companion, Jackson also a tuxedo kitty, passed a little over a year ago. Most days, I have my Australian Shepherd, Fergus, by my side.

I’m seriously thinking about joining summer camp this year - for the first two months I’d likely choose a Christmas ornament for each month. I’ll have to think about August but that shouldn’t be hard to find something new to me! Have a wonderful month.
I have 2 wonderful furry stitching buddies. Jazzy and Bailey. Jazzy is an American Eskimo mix and Bailey is a chocolate Lab/Golden Retriever mix 😍. Both of them I got when they were puppies. I'm ready for a new puppy, but I'll have to wait a while, we just moved, and these girls are still adjusting!
My puppy is 10 yr young now. He prefers his dad, but he will hang out with me when home. His hair definitely lingers even when he is not around!

Oh my, so much 'goodness' today! From recipe to camp news, plus new possibilities to stitch, my excitement is in overdrive, lol. So happy you have had family travels, enjoy. No furry pets as of now, I hope to rescue a dog this summer (retiring from school working with special needs) so a 4 legged partner needed. My stitching buddy was a Cocker Spaniel, Mollie Sue. We lost her a age 7 so she was way to young. Sure miss her. Enjoyed stitching while watching this ❤️

I have 2 puppies( actually older dogs- 10 and 14 years old ). My stitching buddy is Max. A stray cat we took in 2 years ago. He loves to snuggle!
You've made great progress on both of your large projects! I've had many rescue feline and canine buddies in the past but I'm without a pal at present. When I visit family members I'm joined by a sweet kitten, an African Grey parrot who tells me I'm doing a great job and a teenage Golden Retriever. I'm looking forward to a visit next week with my friend and her new puppy.

It looks fabulous with those blues and white popping off of there! So much better than on a white fabric. You make me wish I could stitch on a small count!! My stitching buddy is my kitty cat, Ginger. We have two kitties, Ginger and Binx, they’re almost 2 and almost 1. So they’re a lot of fun to watch and Ginger thinks she Binx’s mother. She takes such good care of him. He’s more snuggly overall but strangely isn’t a lap kitty. She doesn’t care for being picked up and held but she’ll sit in your lap! Oliver is such a handsome boy! We have a puppy dog too. Hope you have a great week!

As usual, another great video. We had to put our 11 yr old dog Charlie down about a month ago, he would lay next to my chair when I stitched. But we have Oscar, who’s a green eyed black cat that is more interested in the floss than watching me. 😃. I’m excited about camp this summer, it’ll be my first time participating. The red truck/puppy bag is adorable!

I am so happy for camp! I will be working on a Prairie Schooler Santa for the holiday in June. I am searching for a puppy for my parents as their dog passed away last April. I unfortunately don't have pets because I am allergic to them. I would love to have a cat, but after spending a couple days at my parent ' s home, I am miserable. I might have to stitch that Quaker Christmas II. I love yours!

Love you little berry and bloom pillows. What a beautiful job on the finishing! Oliver is so habdsome! We always had cats but haven't since we had to move from our farmhouse. My cats always saw my stitching time as their naptime on my lap.
I think cats are always glad to see us sit down in one place, so that they have an available lap for napping!
I don't have a stitching buddy, but floss tube keeps me company while I stitch. Love your Quaker stitches. Summer camp sounds great, I will plan on it and do a Christmas stitch for June.

I really taught myself to cross stitch however I did spend a lot of time with my grandmother who was a cross stitcher. I have two springer spaniels - one is a pupply and the other is 13. They usually sleep near me while I stitch!

My face lite up when you showed the giveaway project bag! The red truck looks so much like the red pick up truck I drove while in high school (so many fun memories with that truck) and I have a new puppy in my house. He is a 5mth old Pomapoo named, Pete. He does a great job of napping in his bed while I work on hand sewing or knitting projects.

Sadly, all my stitching buddies have passed. My kitty, Marigold, last summer and my puppy, Wrigley, a yellow lab, passed in March. I do have a pair of wild ducks that visit our yard everyday. LOL
I started the love of cross stitching at very young age.. and I have a-baby named Sam or Sammy who want my undivided attention while I stitch. My two year old (Carson) puppy sits with me while I cross stitch. I use tweezers to get his hair off my WIP.
I do having a stitching buddy!! His name is Doolittle 🙂 He is one of a pair of littermate dachshunds we got four years ago after I lost my beloved Cavalier, Keillor. So, he is technically an adult but at only 10 pounds, he’s still a puppy to me❤️
That puppy bag is adorable. We also love those red pickup trucks. We use them in decor a lot. We live on a hobby farm so I have a bunch of stitching buddies. They take turns. My most constant companion, Jackson also a tuxedo kitty, passed a little over a year ago. Most days, I have my Australian Shepherd, Fergus, by my side.
So sorry that you lost Jackson last year. It's very hard to lose them.

I got to spend time with one of my granddaughters. I took her a freebie kit from a magazine and got her started. Forgot to take a picture. Puppy. I do not have a furry stitching buddy.
