Ah yes, the Donkey Derby, ski slope, lake and indoor pool (with plastic vines and parrots overhead, and underwater viewing windows). Believe it or not, I also remembered the white cockerel as soon as I saw it! I holidayed at Minehead Butlins a few times in the late '60s / very early '70s and I'm now 56; happy memories indeed!
