The language he used is more like for writing. No one talks like that in real life, even in a formal setting. It is clear that this is an intentional setup for a band 9 example and the test taker obviously memorized the phrases and even sentences specifically for this test. His favorite term is definitely "vibrant" :D. I have a penchant for adapting to uncanny expressions, hence I incorporated this word into my vocabulary to enrich my speech.

you don't need to speak the truth, just say the idea that is easier to support and make points on. For example, you shouldn't say that you hate fruits unless you have stuff to back it up ( just a tip i learned from my tutor btw).
They should say, "Although I am not a big fan of eating fruits, I do eat the occasional orange or banana to get essential nutrients into my diet." *Think positive.

You need to give explanations and examples for your answers in the speaking to get better scores (but they should not be overly complicated).
