I love your channel its so fun! I loved desperate housewives, devious maids and why women kill. Even though I do have valid criticisms for each of those shows, I always loved the dark comedic tone they all had while being pleasing to look at. Even though I do sideeye Marc Cherry a bit I always liked the unique way he writes his shows. This was a great video! I always look forward to your long form videos ❤

Seeing this video makes me want to go back and finish Desperate Housewives. I loved the show in the early seasons but fell off watching it later on. I enjoyed Devious Maids and Why Women Kill as well. Why Women Killed was renewed for a 3rd season, but then they cancelled it.

Turns out the grocery store was a frintvfor money laundering and the gang leader who the store was Smokey laundering for wants his money back. So he recruits the wiki to his crime through threats etc. it’s really good I don’t wanna spoil anythin but Thts the general gyst
By the way, did you catch the reference to Desperate Housewivs in Gilmore girls? In "Wedding Bell Blues" the Marilyn character said that having an affair with your gardener is very "in" right now. I believe it was that show they were talking about. Cute way for the Palladinos to say that they were DH fans.
This is a pretty good video, but you started repeating yourself a lot in the music and storytelling sections That can happen when editing, but yeah idk the script could’ve been tighter. Or maybe a second person who could watch the video before releasing it who would notice the unnecessary repetition
is this the show creator that creates adultery on shows out of drama and makes it justifiable just because? i think thats what you mean on the moral ambiguity. i did get to watch some clips of why women kill but im scared to watch because what if it has the wife cheating because her husband cheats? specifically on mary ann's story since that's my fave. i could be wrong but thats all i get. the moral ambiguity can be something else too. desperate housewives gets on my feed too and there's something that bothers me on gab on why she's such a bad mother and it made so much sense. my fault for spoiling myself before diving on shows, i watch shows on clips.

I 100% recommend Desperate Housewives. Devious Maids is really good too but it might not be everyone’s taste, it’s worth a try

It's super fun and in this sort of vein as well. It's about 3 moms who resort to crime in order to deal with financial difficulties.
