Crysis Warhead is the best Crysis game even though only 17 people played it. I count myself lucky to have experienced this Cryotechnical masterpiece of gaming.

I like how Oboe just calls the protagonist of all of these games "Crysis".
Nomad? Nah, that's Crysis. Prophet? Crysis. Alcatraz? Crysis. Psycho? Crysis. If the player is in control, they are simply John Crysis.

I love that part in the game where Crysis say "It's crysising time!" and crysis all over the enemies.

Crysis Warhead was my first game for PC (I got it along with my first computer), and, for a very long period of time, I used to think that it was the actual first game in the franchise.

Dude same with Turkey and like crytek was founded by 3 brothers with turkish descents. So generally crytek has a different place in turkish gamers.
you can see it in the credits too, they (crytek) had so many branch offices that crysis 2 and crysis 3 had native language versions for diffrent countries.

I love it, because no one in the UK ever refers to themselves as 'British'.
You can really feel his hatred toward the muppets as he says it, too. It's obviously one of the harshest barbs he knows. And, well, after watching entirely too many episodes of the Muppet Show, and all the godawful filler muppets that are not so much funny as they are some uncanny blend of ultra-boring and highly disturbing, I can kinda empathize. Was neat to see all those old-timey celebrities, at least the ones I vaguely knew... but not sure it was worth suffering through Dr. Teeth and the Electric Whateverthefrick, for...
Ah, this game. One day I was making pancakes in the kitchen, when I heard a loud "pop!" from my room. Turns out my PSU would rather blow itself up than be complicit in killing my GPU by forcing it to render Crysis Warhead as I idled in a jungle. Good old days.
I like how the main channel just became the highlight channel, Oboe really is innovative

I can´t believe he didn´t comment on the part in the frozen ship when enemy nano suit soldiers behave like they are frozen like all the normal people in the ship and trick you, suddenly jumping to live and shooting you. I found that hella impressive when I was younger

Oboe still has one Battlefield campaign left to play, that being Battlefield Hardline.
Hardline had a pretty good campaign from what I remember, in that it was actually functional and tried to innovate on something unlike the BF3 and 4 campaigns.

arguably the best Crysis game, played through it so many times
got a new computer this year and was finally able to run it with the graphics turned all the way up
sooooooo good, except that you can't fire the turrets on vehicles while driving on anything higher than normal difficulty, making that one escort mission a nightmare >:(
o hey, i thought that you just had to drive and just take the gunfire as i only played on delta difficulty, realy loved the expansion tho. alien parts fere far more fun, gameplay in general was more difficult in general
I actually do remember Crysis Warhead. I played it and Crysis a bunch back in the day.
Never did finish Crysis 2, though. I got pretty far but I just kinda stopped towards the end. Which isn't a specific knock against Crysis 2, for some reason I just have a bad habit of quitting a game when I'm near its end.

Crisis Warhead was pretty memorable for me, as the concept of a separate game consisting of a side-story I heard about in the main game was pretty neat at the time. I only lament that it was way more linear, after the island-spanning jungle playground we just went through.

Oh I remember Crysis Warhead for the simple fact that I used the game’s console to give myself an infinite ammo nuke launcher. My GPU didn’t like that and promptly died.

This is one of the not so many games that had Hungarian dub, and it wasn't bad so yeah i remember because hungarian voice acting in video games are kinda rare.
Seeing that gamer on my graphics settings gets me stoked to play this game

I Crysis myself to sleep every night.
Still got both my Crysis 1 and Warhead CDs and don't forget the standalone Multiplayer game Crysis Wars that came with Warhead, used to play it online and it was amazing. Also both games are good in their own right but Crysis 1 has by far the better plot.

I'm barely a crysis fan and I heard of this game back when it was new when lurking on youtube. I remember it because it had the australian sounding guy with the dual wielding machine pistols

This game has a failsafe if you pirate it, after a while you start to shoot chickens, enemies shoot chickens, gunships shoot chickens. Chickens don't do damage...

Those failsafes only work against the most raw and rushed early pirated versions
Back when Crysis was first released one of the most marketed aspects was how they provided you with a crazy map editor and you could create new maps they even released an sdk and everything. You could also play custom maps on multiplayer, the main problem was that to play a custom map you had to download the maps yourself, there was no downloader in game. They promised to add a downloader in a patch, which they kept delaying I should also add that the multiplayer had some crazy glitches (tbh they made the game more fun) like double jumping against walls or strafing. Then finally they announced that crysis 1 was trash and that they were releasing a bunch of quality of life improvements including the downloader in a new game, Crysis Warhead! Crytek also said that some glitches were acceptable and kept the strafing but removed the double jumping. You can tell I'm still salty.
I thought strafing is normal mechanic. Apex legends seems depends on it

Just realized if a nuke is launched theres a chance someone in its target area woukd be deleted by a warhead while eating a warhead, could even be playing cod and drop a nuke while eating a nuke while getting nuked

Same, at least we did get the VTOL level that was cut from the Xbox 360/PS3 ports. Not that it was a good level.

The only reason I got Warhead was for the Living Legends mod to play big stompy robots.
But it was actually fun on its own too.

This mini side-story campaign was bundled with Crysis Wars, the multiplayer version of Crysis. I thought it was cool that they did that. It was a big treat to the fans. @@whimbox9648 Yes actually, and last I played (a year ago) it was pretty healthy. Living Legends is the name. No custom loadouts for balance reasons, but I got used to it.
