    I was born in Cumberland, Sacred Heart. Preacher was in Frostburg. That was a long time ago. I live far south now, and I wish I had been older to appreciate the history of the northern area. Y'all have it made. Good vid

    hi first timer, here. im in north central WV. and im about an hour from fenton glass(closed, now), in williamstown, WV, and they had a whole case full of that uranium glass. its the coolest thing to see, isnt it. i too collect a few bottles. we lived next to a creek in town and i found a three sided bottle in cobalt glass, that had the name 'laxol' imprinted in the glass. one side was curved to hold a paper label and the 2 flat sides made it possible to display it w/ 2 other bottles, in a circle, and only show the labels. cool, huh.

      @CrickDiggersInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for subscribing to our channel. I do love uranium glass especially the earlier lighter colored stuff. Love those Cobalt laxol bottles very cool. They come both machine made and blown in mold. Thanks for your support and good luck on your next adventure.

    Cool Great bottle finds. I heard back in the days (1800's), people would hide there valuables in the outhouse, as there were not a lot of banks around. Have you ever found gold coins, money or old jewelry in outhouses? Great video:-) 👍

    • @CrickDiggersInc
      @CrickDiggersInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use cut copper pellets from Jardoctor.com and fill up bottle half full of copper and then add lukewarm water an inch over the copper. Cover the opening with your hand or a towel and shake back and forth, rotate, and shake some more. Shake for one minute and dump copper out in a seine, rinse with lukewarm water and dry off. 😊

    How does this stuff end up so deep???

    • @CrickDiggersInc
      @CrickDiggersInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was an old outhouse or bathroom. Back when it was built it was just s big hole with s building put over top of it. They also had no landfills or anything like that for the towns so they used their bathroom, privys, as the trash cans and threw their unwanted items into the hole. Those unwanted items are now highly collected and treasured.
