      I agree but the flooring area is on a slope. That lowered the standard a bit. I would have like him to level it. Look at the bottom of the door!

    Beautiful! My wife and I decided to build one of these a few weeks back and are still in the planning/purchasing stage. We are going to use fiberglass round pillars rated for 14,000 lb load for the supporting legs. Your video really got me pumped to tackle the project next month!. Thanks!

    • @annyiu8310
      @annyiu8310  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My husband said there has a waist height stone wall to support my lawn. It is very close to my door, so if he builds a wooden structure next to it, we can't do maintenance further if need. Therefore, he builds a brick wall to connect with the house basement structure in this area. He doesn't need to worry about the maintenance further.

      Why not? I'm no pro and I built an entire bulkhead for my home years ago. I had someone dig the hole, I knocked out a doorway through the foundation wall, poured the footing, built the concrete block enclosure, waterproofed it, bolted down steel Bilco frame, attached the steel doors, installed stair stringers for the stairway and back filled around the bulkhead by hand. I was around 35 years-old at the time, and it took me about a week, doing entire project all by my lonesome. It's still in great shape by the way, over 40 years later. No leaks, wood rot, etc.

    That construction by now is rotten, there were many mistakes in the process. Wood in contact with impervious surfaces shall be PT and the rest is history. Missing flashing and hurricanes hold-downs, and the PVC drainage mad me go WTF? The fact that he was happy about the light being on cause me concern.
