Spray the silicone on to a rag and wipe it on, saves it going everywhere

We clean ours regularly (black streaks from water running down the rubber) and normally spray with silicone twice a year, beginning and end of season

Forgot to add, another sign your seals want spraying is during hot weather, if the windows start to stick to the seals.👍
