Thank you, Maestro. You have helped me immensely with your videos, and the timing was perfect, since I started working on my "high notes" (I'm a bass), and was unsure which road to take. You have removed any doubt I might have had regarding appoggio, and I thank you once more for that. :)
@TheSandkastenverbot Appoggio is belcanto's elite technique, that produces powerful and yet unforced sounds. Belting technique arrived later in contemporary music like blues, broadway and was basicaly immitating Bel Canto in projection, but not in style(non continuous vibrato), though Belting T. allows to sing without mikes in smaller theaters it's not suitable for Operatic projection and style. So it's closer related to classical way then to Contemporary microphone styles.
@MrJackylimzw "Pure" appoggio uses only one natural placement(regardless to sensations of a singer) and all the manipulations are conducted by support. Pure appoggio technique can also be called "one tembral voice technique".
Hi Meastro Tenelli, can you still consider one to be using appoggio if he's using the 2nd voice, 3rd voice or 4th voice (as stated in Jerome Hines' "Four Voices of Man". In the book, he mentioned these 3 voices involving some kind of "placement". Like dome of hard palate
Hi Mr Tenelli, I am referring to one of the other videos you posted some time ago on the "Four Voices of Man". Have read the book and got a little confused with the term "Appoggio". Apparently, it seems that the 1st voice (as mentioned by Jerome Hines) is the only true "Appoggio" singing approach? As I am currently learning from a vocal teacher who favors the 2nd voice, what advise do you have for me? Is the 2nd voice still consider Appoggio singing? Am just getting a little confused now.
is it true that the point of passagio determines the voice type of the individual or can an individual for example mezzo develop a higher range using the appoggio or are there limitations imposed on the range by the type of instrument one possesses
I love your scientific approach with actions. You are a great singer and a very smart man. Thanks for your work indeed

Meastro, thanks a lot for those videos! I have one question: how is the appoggio style of singing related to the belting technique?
@MrJackylimzw appoggio and he is one of the best
