I PROMISE YOU, the NEXT AIRSOFT VIDEO I POST is unlike ANYTHING you've ever seen before. I got to play Airsoft in the abandoned building where Battlefield was made. YES, that's right - EA/DICE's Abandoned LA Office Building! TWO FULL FLOORS OF CHAOS! Was it sketchy? Yes. Was it epic? Absolutely. Did I feel like I was doing a no-no? Kinda. Just a bunch of car youtubers, some fashion models, myself, glow sticks, and a semi-organized night of awesomeness. As far as I'm aware, we did get full permission from the building manager, since it was scheduled to be re-modeled after. It was so insanely epic. DO NOT MISS IT!
I think I'd honestly be very scared that an Airsoft referee comes at me, because I don't play Airsoft.

A couple weeks ago I almost got banned because a wore the same shirt as this other guy who full autoed a little kid. I was so scared because nothing like that had ever happened to me because I don't cheat and always follow field rules. But thanks to a couple friends at the field we caught the real guys and the ref apologized for the inconvenience.

They always apologize when they are proven to be wrong...but they are never open for the possibility until then.....

@@frodeskibrek can you blame them? Who knows how many players lie and say "I didn't do it"? By the time someone actually didn't do it you're probably tired of the excuses.
Best thing to remember is everyone is human. Remaining calm and collected is key.
As someone who lives in a forested area, and thus used to being out in the bush, I'd probably get destroyed instantly in environments this open. Hats off to Dutch for his quick thinking and sharp eye.

Just found your YT because I had a spring AK from a couple years ago and I wanted to shoot with it again for fun, but after a while the trigger broke. Then I started to look up about airsoft and guns, because I would like to do it myself. Only problem is that I don’t really know any people that play, there is not really much nearby to play airsoft and its pretty expensive for being 17 and still going to school. Loved your videos, you had the best and most entertaining videos for me when I was searching about airsoft games after looking up the information about airsoft. So I am glad you’re uploading again. Also Happy Holidays for you and keep uploading these entertaining airsoft games!

I'd definitely have been a little concerned seeing the ref coming at me like that. I don't play personally, but I've seen enough airsoft content to believe people can react unpredictably to a successful push like that. Keep up the great content! I think those who get anxious usually have nothing to worry about! Anyone who knows your channel knows that the only way you play is by the rules. Awesome that you went and talk to the new player! Take care man
Had a moment a few years ago. Because I'm usually running my sniper loadout outdoors and wore a ghillie suit, someone complained to the refs that I was shooting my sniper super close. The confusion lied in my camo where both my sniper and my ssx23 were both camouflaged pretty much the same, yet still makes me confused on how the player thought I was using my sniper up close. There would have been a huge discrepancy on how hurtful the bb hitting them would be if I did. The refs knew me by reputation being that go to that field pretty much every weekend. A ref did come to me with a chrono in hand but told me he was coming to me as a formality and that he knew I'm one of the good honorable players and wouldn't risk being kicked out from somewhere I enjoy coming to every weekend. Few laughs and small conversations later, then he walked away and told me to keep up the killing.
If you know the people and you do your best to follow the rules, you got nothing to worry about.
I love your vids mate. Its you and other airsoft content creators that inspired me to start airsofting and it's been the best experience I've had. Can't wait until after Christmas to try out an airsoft shotgun too!

@@pianoman1894Srry its been a while, but I dont surf comments a whole lot, but to answer your question, I am back playing, and returned from playing at AMS Operation Copperhead 8 recently. The recovery was tough because I was not able to do any activity past walking for about 6 months. And that was after a 2 month period of non weight bearing entirely. I was back on the field just about as soon as i could walk. (Although not very effective at that point I still enjoyed the heck out of it😅) I appreciate your concern and I hope you are having a great time playing!

Keeping calm in the face of dread is the mark of an adult. When others start to loose control of their emotions, even if your own heart is pounding, stay relaxed. I have gotten out of speeding tickets & driving on a suspended license by staying calm. By acting like its no big deal, Cop just looked @ it & handed it back & didn't get out his ticket book. Didn't run me through the system.

I love playing airsoft and only recently started to record, mostly at first it was to catch most of the cheaters at my home field, you actually inspire me to play better and have more fun. I call all the hits I feel, the field i main doesnt count ricochet as a hit but sometimes i call it because im not sure and some people can just simply have weaker guns. I have had my fair share of cheaters and people with poor sportsmanship, I have been tempted to stay true to an honorable way and simply report what those people do to the refs. Now that i have a gopro, its easier to just show what they do and refs deal with them much quicker because they have the proof. As for if a ref comes straight up to me thinking if im cheating or not, I straight up respect their word and try my best to be honorable and I make sure to apologize to the person if i didnt feel their hit. I hope not to have bad blood with anyone. Love your vids, keep up the great work!
I would panic a bit but then again sticking to your honor system, That tells me you're not going to try something out of the ordinary. Like they say, "game recognizes game" gotta give you mad props for sticking to your word. Yeah, emotions can get the best of us all. It's how you respond that can make or break you.
Yeah. Confidence is key. If they really have a problem, they need to remember you have a A channel and you up hold one best attitudes that airsoft needs. Your videos literally vouch for you. You sir have integrity! Merry Christmas!

thing at the end of "he was a good sport and we talked at the end" hits close to home for me. i talk to the enemy team between games. i learn things about themselves and what sort of equipment they use or have. i try not to ask bout tactics cause thats scummy if i do. but if they way what they are gunna do i never tell me team. though that marshal bit was cool. i'd recon my marshals would do the same

We did it Dutch. After having a $150 g&g aeg that broke over 4 years ago, I am finally getting fully into this game. Finally, I had enough time for job for to get an hpa jack and all the rigging to set it all up. I’ve taken apart that gun and put it together more times that I can count just for the hell of it. Was probably the most expensive thing I’ve bought myself other than a car.
Your content honestly made me want to get back into airsoft. I doubt you’ll see this but if you do, thank you. Ik you play around the so cal area so hopefully I run into you if you’re ever at warped ops or ambush.

glad to see a bunch of people having fun on a good day of airsoft :) that's how it's supposed to be! everyone seems to be having a good time, supporting some other newer players, introducing them to the sport. i've never had a ref walk up to me intimidatingly, but i think i'd be pretty chill. i try to play fairly, but sometimes bb's bounce on your armor or helmet or something, and you don't notice! oh well. nice video!

If I were in your situation I would wonder to myself... "How did I get onto an airsoft field?" I don't play myself (mostly due to financial costs and time restraints), but I do enjoy the entertainment of watching you do it.
to be honest, if i can be even half as honorable in airsoft as you are Dutch, I'll be pleased. i say this cause though i have the gear, i have yet to start playing as there are no fields near me that host games on days i have off. you sir, are an inspiration to all of us aspiring to actually get into the sport and hobby of airsoft. i had a marshall making a bee line for me a few weeks back i knew i played honestly as i could but couldnt help but feel like i was trouble. turned out all he wanted was my group of 3 to swap side to help even the teams out lol. another awsome video dutch always look forward to watching them.

I haven't played airsoft in years. And kinda miss it. But it would be awesome to play with or against you some day. Your one of the few I've seen that play honorably and make it fun all at the same time. I have a basic AEG m-4 rifle. No where near the power your pushing.
Ngl dutch has become one of my favorite airsofters to watch. His infantry playstyle is unmatched with quick pace and accurate shooting!
The "Leroy Jenkins!" that was said almost made me choke on my drink, and for the ref I'd been a lil worried but still in a joking matter just for the fun of it. Sooner or later I'll be out in the field once I have the good time to get out there.
I gotta be honest, you're videos are really what's making me want to get into airsoft, keep up the great work and game play! Also on a side note.. since I'm planning on going to my first ever event soon if I saw the ref B line for me I'd probably full panic and start assuming I wasn't calling hits I should've or somethin but that might just be me

I’ve actually been in a situation similar to this. I was at an airsoft field in Virginia and long story short I got my gun cronographed but they said they didn’t crono it and pulled me off the field and told me that if it was shooting too hot I would be done for the day. I can completely understand them acting like this because a hot shooting AR is a big deal. I’ve been playing airsoft for about 9 years now so I completely understood and we went back to the crono range and got it re-tested and it was fine. But it sure felt like I was in big trouble 😂. Just wanted to take the time to say keep the content coming! You got me to finally go try airsoft, turns out I’m actually good at it! 2nd time going i got 15 kills, 10 more than my first time and survived almost all my games, was playing in close quarter combat, once i get my first air soft gun i want to hit a field for the first time! Any recommendations on any fields in la area, i can drive too so no worries on a bit of a drive to some.
Personally I love Wildlands in Lake Elsinore and Stryker in Santa Paula!

I used to play paintball with a bunch of cops when I was in my 20s. If I had the money to get into this sport today, I would try Airsoft and let it whip me into shape for my 40s.
Instead, I find myself on a DTH video binge, making future plans to get there. I loved paintball. I know I would love airsoft. Thank you for making good content to watch and inspire dude. Love the latest content too.

Honestly to be fair, I play mainly in custom gear, usually ODST gear (Spartan armor is a bit too thick in some areas) and I am usually very calculative and crazy when it comes to a firefight. I used to be a big re-ball player so air soft became another fun thing to do. I can see a ref coming to me, bee lining it straight for me and myself would most likely be ready to hear how upset people are getting at my play style or accuracy. I also get questions about my gear a lot though thankfully I am going to acquire new gear for when I make my return to the airsoft field. Keep up the good work Dutch!
I do appreciate that when you have a clear shot at short to mid range you only shoot once. I see way too many people fire 5-6 shots in some of those situations.

Definitely late to this vid haha. I would hear the ref or other party out to see what they have to say and try to work on a solution. They might be right, they might be wrong. What's true is most of the people out there are just trying to have a good time and it's always best to maintain that spirit because that's what makes Airsoft so great. Always good to have video proof just in case they want to see it but I wouldn't go out of my way to share it to prove my point because what they really want to hear is that you care and want to play honorably. If I saw the ref beelining for me, I'd definitely panic for a sec haha because the last thing you want to hear is "hey step aside" because that means you miss out on some play lol.
