Hello my friend, can you please elaborate on what the ohm range should be for the transponder antenna. You had a reading of 8.9 ohms and you said that too high or too low is not good, but I find that to be very vague. Can you tell us a range or would that be in service information like Mitchell, identifix, etc..? Thanks for your time and I appreciate your videos! 👌🏼👍🏼
Hi there, normally for those antennas I’ve seen, they are between 6 to 20 ohms. But if you are measuring the antenna and you get no reading, it means there is open circuit inside the antenna which caused the fault and it must be replaced.
@@AutomotiveDiagnosis Thank you.
So, even though the keys were working fine, the you might find yourself that the transponder chip in the keys have to be programmed?
Great how do you make things clear
Thanks my friend
Does this has anything to do with my car cranking for so much time before it finally turn on?
No, delay on cranking normally comes from the fuel system, Cranks or Cam sensors.
@@AutomotiveDiagnosis I've done more research and find out that some cars including my Hyundai does crank but does not fire if the transponder is faulty, I've cleaned the connections and it is now working like charm, fires from the first try ! 😁
Great video thanks for sharing
