I don't "cover" songs in a traditional sense, but I often enough slide into a chord structure of an existing piece. Sometimes subconsciously, sometimes on purpose. If the piece is exclusively around the cover songs chord structure I mention the original in the title.🙏😊

Yeah I know what you mean iv been learning piano for just over 4 years now but learning songs has been like banging my head against a brick wall. Start trying to learn it then I just end up improvising. But I'm trying to break out of that habit this year plus it's getting easier now it's not so much a head banger.
