    If you are in the Loi Kroh area there is a small restaurant called 'Cameron and Aum' about 100 m on Soi 1. It is a Thai restaurant set up for local Thais with Thai prices...definitely worth a visit if you like genuine Thai food....

      I really much prefer the heavier flavours of southern Thailand. But hey, I'll never say no to food regardless so I'll take note of your suggestion. Cheers... 😉

    The last time I was in Chiang Mai was back in 2016 and celebrated NYE in this glorious city. Way too long between visits. I remember the massages were so cheap and so good. You've really got your thai sound perfect! That clear noodle soup looks on point. I always queried why there's sugar on the table. HAHA I've always wanted to just drink form the bowl like you. I think we will travel well together. I love khao soi! What I find fascinating about Cannabis is that it's legal but vaping isn't. Go figure. I know it's touristy, but I do love a good night market. Why would anyone order pizzas and burgers when in Chiang Mai? Your dinner. Holy moly, my stomach is eating itself.

      There are many first time visitors to Thailand who are overwhelmed by the spices. So the default is burgers and pizzas. Hahaha...

    Chang Mai has changed alot Ryan. The food was fab, one of my fav Asian foods. I don't like all the western food. Yummo.

      I'm pretty sure parts of Chiang Mai has changed. And yet, most parts I went to seemed very similar to a typical Thai market from my childhood. I love these nostalgic vibes and I could remain there all day long soaking everything in.

    why would you get in trouble for consuming weed in thailand when getting back to australia?

    • @ryansofly
      @ryansofly  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sniffer dogs roam the arrivals in Australia. Even if you've done drugs overseas, and if detected, you'd go through the wringer at customs.

      @@ryansofly No that is not how it works. It is completely legal for you to smoke in Thailand and go back home after. It is legal in Thailand.
