Thanks for watching!
What an unexpected collab 😂
no but fr lmao
He brought that sidekick geek from KY. Those two boys in KY are hilarious lol. 😳
@@pmiahky lol I kinda feel bad that their Santa Fe broke down. They really seemed to have fun with that. Hope they buy a better hybrid version of it though
I'm losing interest in brands that focus only on SUVs.
Im losing interest when they kill natural aspirated engines
Was saying this on Tedward’s leaf video this morning, too, but for being in the position they’re in, Nissan and Infiniti are making pretty darn good lemonade with the lemons they have. If they keep products like this up and continually improve them, I think they’ll end up being just fine.
i know that in a couple of years someone is going to rip the engine out of one of these that's been crashed and put it in a Z. the power numbers are crazy.
as they should I just wonder how much heavier it’d make the Z.
Or, you can make stroked version of VR30 from the Z.
Infiniti is back in business
Great now let’s fix nissan while Toyota is shooting itself in the foot.
Now all they need to do is put this new powertrain in the next gen Q50 and maybe a sporty crossover.
@@ataibsaleem7419 It doesnt rev high enough, theyll just use the vr30 till its extremley outdated then switch to all ev, which is a mistake
@@TalooshDaBoss hopefully they make the engine more athletic and rev happy. But if that's the case, then this engine is probably meant for big SUVs and trucks. Hybrid vr30 setup would be an okay compromise instead of going full EV.
QX60 and the QX80 are the only thing I would consider buying from Infiniti, the QX50 and 55 needs a tech, interior and transmission upgrade, also they should put a detuned version of the 3.5TT on this to the QX60.
Strange observation - why will Nissan put rear door sunshades on the Rogue and Pathfinder, but not the flagship QX80?
Тонированные стёкла.
The rear doors glass has special uv protection …
Finally the drive!! Thanks Topher!
this thing is gorgeous
Mark my words, by 2030, Infiniti will be back to competing as one of the best luxury automakers there is. The dedication of their design team to culture, heritage, and detail is outstanding!
Honestly nissan and infiniti make great cars, they need to update their damn lineup more often though. The q50 has looked the same for 10 years
Feels like the first time they've
finally caught up to the competition
Yeah the q50 looks ancient
make more car therapy topher!!! :DD i remember a video when you were in la, it helped me a lot
That’s REALLY expensive…
The interior looks really nice
The front looks good, the interior looks great and the rear looks like an evolution of the old 2011 infiniti qx56 tail.
Have a LOVELY start to your week everyone 💗🕊🌱 I LOVE You!
P.S. Awesome video, Topher Drives 😊
Just reminding people that this is the top-of-the-line trim. Base trim is around $82k iirc
Great interior !!!
Can’t wait to buy one of these in six years for 20 grand
😅👍
Just buy a six year old qx80 now
Its true value 🤣🤣
I hope they have better luck than toyota and their Turbo motors 😂
Since i saw the 1st interior photos i wondered about the armerest center stack design. They definately need to fix that area. Whoever did that should be fired.
the same feeling
@@__2569 It's the only thing I kept seeing in my head.I'm like the armrest is there, but it's too far back and the rest is going to be hard to put your elbow on. So I was a little bit confused that someone actually approved this LO. L
@@occckid123 like me the car is great but that part is messed up I don't feel comfortable looking at it.
That center console is atrocious. Looks very uncomfortable and annoying.
yep
Message to Toyota and Nissan: Everyone wants the V8. No one wants your turbos.
Yes and you kill the v8 jus for 1 mile better
@@Venomoustoxins2122 And kill your wallet: those turbos don't last.
This is a significant update over the previous generation model.
2025 Tahoe/Suburban will make this irrelevant again
Cmon guy what big truck has rear wheel steering?
Front and rear bumper cover paint shade is different from the rest of the car. Honestly a big issue across a lot of new cars but on something this expensive it really sticks out.
Это игра тени.
Looks like a Nissan Quest 😭
Ill wait 5 years and pick one up for 20k
nice
Glad they finally tried to make a modern vehicle.
This is more exclusive than a GV80 or Lexus LX. If you want exclusivity this is it.
Love to see a new ICE engine. Ev's suck.
I love the rear end and lights
112k 😂
the engine sound coming thru the speakers is so obvious it’s insane
The opening shot of this video is the epitome of over complexity in cars.
Yeah, real ugly and overdesigned
Nice collab with one of the Car Confections Brothers :-) Well Done Chris !
No hard buttons for climate control…ugh
Kinda wished they introduced more interior colour combos 🤷🏻♂️
Plus i think they didnt take a thought about changing the tire/wheel size 🤔 looks significantly small compared to its body.
Maybe some big ass spacers will do the job?
Would never spend 6 figures on a Infiniti. Much better options available in that price range
Eh. I guess Infiniti should go out of business.
But I remind myself that competition is a good thing. Even if the competition ain’t good enough. But then it’s like the competition doesn’t even exist in the first place…
Id honestly get a lexus or genesis or lucid
That’s because you are a hater. Yeah buy lx600 and less than 30k miles the engine and transmission will blow. Even the genesis and their crappy engines. Good luck with your look lx600 . 😅
@@blackgold754 please go and buy your glorious lx600, few minutes from the dealership, before you get to your house the engine will blow, 💥 boom
@@carnations1905 bruh I think you’re talking about new Tacoma engines that’s breaking down with mild off-roading . Not GX and even genesis is considered more reliable than its Porsche, Cadillac, and bmw counterparts. Most cars today are shit and buying luxury cars are risky but the risk is minimized with buying Lexus or genesis.
Unloaded question: Who is buying a $100k+ Nissan product? Would you trust (reliability wise) a big, $116k Nissan product vs a similarly priced Lexus, Cadillac, Bimmer, or Merc SUV?
the fact this big thing doesn't have a cvt makes it a much better purchase to stomach if you're financially irresponsible
Nissan heavy duty cars are underrated. So many Patrols in the Middle East. I see many old Armadas and QX80 in the US too.
They don’t use CVTs, they’re fine.
You mean besides the GTR they’ve spent like 20 years perfecting w/ a ttV6? Hmmmm…maybe they know a thing or 2 about turbo engines🤫
@@MS-mr4zmGood to hear. Although I am a VW(8th VW GLI)/Audi fanboi I grew up with Datsun (dad had a Datsun 810 ,1984 300zx turbo, and 1990 Infiniti Q45 (all bought new). I hate what Renault did to the Nissan brand.
Everybody isn’t a car enthusiast. Y’all overthink this stuff too much. The people that lease these luxury cars don’t be as worried about the stuff that’s complained about on here
Wow arm rest issue might be a deal breaker for me. Huge miss here
same as u
What a bummer of a refresh. Hyundai Santa-Fe front end, Lexus LX-esque rear end and generic/typical piano black+touch screen overload on the inside. This does not stand out at all.
Nice review, and unless you have been in one and been up close and personal this thing is actually disappointing. The whole internet excitement of this refresh is pumping this up, but I won’t be going for this.
good to be honest about the "massaging seats" I swear the gimmicks that most cars are trying to come out with and this is honestly a sad attempt by Infiniti... I'd still take a escalade over this.... also that center console is AWKWARD.... also the door that opens is on the arm rest is dumb...
yes
Looks better than LX600
Better value than a Escalade
The escalade doesn’t even know this thing exists 😂
lol
Nobody buying an Escalade is cross shopping with this
@@dawsongranger4940 *nobody is buying this. Period.😂😂
so...Hyundai Palisade and Range Rover all wrapped into one...ok
The qx80 autograph is amazing but for 100k a Porsche cayenne would be better
$100k for a V6. Car manufacturers are just scamming customers at this point.
What is the top speed of the Infiniti QX80 Autograph?
130 mph
Wait 2 years and you can get it for almost half off. Makes the $112k a tiny bit more palatable, though, some sob with no sense of money would have to buy it first.
Also, the sound coming through the speakers sounds like they were trying to make it sound like cars from Cruis'n USA from the N64. In other words, it sounds terrible.
Кто его купит за эти деньги?
Только шейхи, гонять верблюдов по пустыне.
I love the way they design that digital cluster
It kinda looks better version of lexus gx
@27:10 'What can you do?'
Not buy it
I prefer the touch signals just tap it and it blinks 3x
Beautiful Car!!!
Nissan is so back!
cant wait for the new Armada version make it more utilitarian
For over a 100 grand that hood better open itself.
Every car manufacturers want to have big touch screens in their cars.
It's because it's cheaper for them to make it like this. Personally, I don't mind some screens here and there; but this is just done without taste.
Much better than old Infiniti interiors, though.
Every car manufacturers want to copy Mercedes Benz when it comes to the infotainment system design.
get the last gen qx80
Look forward to seeing one at Dave’s Used Cars for 35K in three years
kind of has Range Rover vibes in the styling.
Those AC controls on that tablet are horrible. Just asking to get into a car accident while making adjustments.
Substitute Topher did a very admirable job replacing Topher. Sounds very similar maybe related, very soothing voice. The Infiniti for me is way overpriced and the build quality questionable especially given the competition for the price. Another scandalous iteration from Nissan Corp 💩💩🤥
Looks better than the last one, still ugly
This new Qx80 is seriously hideous. I would like to talk to the engineers and designers 🤢😔
every year of the qx80 looks like a blob fish
Well on the FX50/QX70 you could have all-wheel steering. But it makes it also heavier but also the money right now... But I think it´s just a small draw back. But it would also be nice to add something others don´t have. But other than the small things it´s fine. Finally.
The running board thing made me laugh. We have a 2011 Suburban LTZ with the power running boards and we had the passenger motor go bad four years ago and if you turn the running boards off, they are stuck up, not down, so that’s the only thing that has been an issue with them.
I actually believe soft close doors are an unnecessary tech that's been added to luxury cars. I could see Infiniti adding automatic closing doors in the future.
turn signals?? come on you just dont know what you talking about ... this car is aTOP of all luxuries cars
My prediction, they will use this engine with a hybrid set up in the new gtr. Considering the power this makes, also twin turbo, makes sense to me. Nissan also doesn't have a super big budget.
Beautiful!
A blend of elegance and capability
Very thoughtful and balanced review. Thank you. That tinny acceleration noise alone is a pass for me.
The bumpers look like they have another color shade than the rest of the car, if so not optimal for a car this expensive.
That's just not got the looks needed for someone to spend that type of money on a car. It looks too much like a hyped up Hyundai.
Now Infiniti has made a strong return to the competition, with a beautiful appearance and a very nice interior, much better than Lexus
Well hello, Topher Too!
nice
I'm so sorry but the rear just screams Smart #1 and that's not good at all...
Hyundai palisade😂😂😂😊
it looks like a range rover 😭 from the steering wheel to the boxy look and the rear ¾ angle to the side vent thing in the front fenders
Lexus needs to take note on how to do a proper interior.
I would rather have the climate in the main screen and that space for more stuff down low.
What the .....
I’ll miss the v8 such a good motor hope the v6 is reliable
Decent infiniti models
I used to love this truck when it was the QX56. 110,000 and it doesn't have soft closing doors? The design (hitting the storage button on arm rest), may lack power, I don't think it's thoroughly planned. Good review though. Thank you
Very good looking update, love the interior .
Killed v8 just to get 1 mile better in gas mileage
I m not a fan of v6
Interior looks great, exterior not a fan tbh.
I wanna know who tf is buying these😂
Is Thetopher and Tedward the same person?
TIL Infiniti is still making vehicles
This is nice!
The steering wheel is giving Range Rover
tbh this car looks like a mini van
