- The leader of Hezbollah said Thursday the mass bombing attack in Lebanon on the group’s communications devices was a “severe blow” and said Israel had crossed a “red line.” Hassan Nasrallah warned of 'tough retribution and just punishment' for device blasts and vowed the militant Shiite group would emerge stronger than ever. As Nasrallah spoke in a televised speech from an unknown location, Hezbollah and the Israeli military traded new strikes over the border. Israeli war planes flew low over Beirut and broke the sound barrier, sending birds flying in panic and people in their houses and offices rushing to open the windows to avoid the glass shattering. Fears are rising that 11 months of exchanges of fire between the two sides will escalate into all-out war, particularly after this week's unprecedented bombings around Lebanon and in Syria, detonating hundreds of pagers and walkie talkies used by Hezbollah. At least 37 people were killed and some 3,000 wounded in the explosions, which appeared to be the culmination of a monthslong operation by Israel to target as many Hezbollah members as possible all at once but also hit civilians. The pagers were detonated by the pager zero. There was a pager which initially sent a message. The message was subsequently sent to all the pagers. The message caused a short circuit in the pagers. They got heated up and exploded.
now this means nothing safe to use if its has a central control eg gps etc

@krzeszewski. I think that it depends on who you ask. Saw an expert on international law said it was allowed if the Pagers were given ONLY to Hezbollah FIGHTERS/ COMMANDERS. If the Hezbollah members were non-fighter (clerks, etc), then they shouldn't be targeted.
