Main thing is price bracket.when it was between 30 to 35,it was reasonable. But now its not due to its current price.thats why peoples prefer rebirth & corrolla gli 14 15.
The only reason why dealers dislike Alsvin is that they are not getting ONN on alsvin. The big three were expected to discourage ONN but instead they dont do anything about it to keep dealers happy. Changan should be supported.
Price is going crazy for all new cars, I bout alsvin at 38 and even at that time no body in my circle was ready to accept that I bought a Chinese car in that budget. But it was the best bang for buck at that time.

I think it's a temporary decline. Fuel prices are going up and this factor will make the Alsvin hot again.
Preferring a used corrolla or honda, in 4 million, having bad fuel average will not be wise choice in future.

@Abdul-Aziz aka Abdi sir moja ya batien ka alsvin me non faut issues kya ha or kya y workshop ka chakkar to ni lagwai zyada. i mean is ka DCT issue to ni krta??
Manual varient has no issue except for tyres which are present in DCT version as well.There are some things relating to this car that it's DCT gear fails after 40000 km but could be replaced in insurance.I don't know it's true or not but some people have suspect about it.

Bhai 99% agree with your discussion. Lakin dealers nay be koi kasar ni chori big 3 kai ilawa kisi aor company ko kamyaab krwanay mai. E.g. jab new hybrid anay shoru hoi thi to logo mai misconception kis nay daala keh hybrid na laina battery kharab hojati hai, Battery ni milni, battery ki price car ki price ka half hai. Ussi tarah jab mg launch hoi to jis be showroom walo sai pocha uss nay laine sai mana he kiya keh chinese brand hai na loo.

The car is very good to drive, but "market" ki gari nahi hai, ya market "slow" hai uski bhi. One can't demand the same for it as compared to other 1300 cc cars !!

I respect your opinion but would like to give my 2 cents as well.
Suzuki swift last generation came in a time jab annii nahi machi hui thi prices ki. It has reasonable resale value. Infact, suzuki swift last generation ki eik khaas cult and people love it.
But to some degree, I do agree with you as well. 25-26 lac say upper Swift slow hojati hai. People do prefer diggi wali car. But 25 lac se neche Swift ki alaihda hi Dunya hai.

Aapki baat bilkul sahi h, jis chez ki demand hogi dealer wohi chez khareedega bechega, dealer kisi ko force nhi krskta koi b gari leny k liye. Customer apna mindset lekr aata h dealer k paas k usko kiya lena h. Ye to aam baat h, agr grocery store se kisi customer ko koi makhsoos brand ka cocking oil lena h to wo wohi lega, dukandar usko dusra brand nhi bech paega. Or dukandar wo brand kiyu rakhega jo customer nhi lerhy. Rozi to bikny wali chez se aani ee h naam brand jo b ho.

i was preferring Alsvin Luminar 1.5 due to its features because Yaris and City has not offering these but if resale is that much down then its not good decision to take this car

For a second hand car, there is no harm in going alsvin. The reason being, a second hand alsvin most probably would have taken a resale hit before you buy it.
Through this video, I am suggesting that someone who is trying to sell an upper model alsivn won't be able to do it at a good rate.
Baqi, I being a middle class person, would always go for something more reliable like city or yaris.

brother I have Changan alsvin 1.5 top of the line should I keep it or sell it and add 4 to 5 lac and buy 17 model civic or 21 model top of the line city. Please suggest.
If it was me, I would buy the civic as its much better car overall in every aspect. But if you drive a lot and fuel average is considered only then city, also I feel after a couple of years city 2021 would have better resale/ less depreciation than 2017 civic, maybe only slightly though.

you are right on brand names and its perception.Sorento on the other hand is a confused choice for the consumers. nobody knows what is it. neither a Suv nor a car . Alsvin on the other hand is good in built quality but since due to brand perception and bad pricing strategy made it failed !

Actually people have trust in these big 3 brands as they get best after sales service. Parts are readily available all over Pakistan. Chahe used part khareedna ho ya new. Road side mechanic bhi behtar samjhte inn garion ko. Jabke koi new entrant market mein aata usko dealership ke ilava kahin aur se repair nahi kara sakte. Aur dealership par spare parts ki price aasman se baatein kar rahi hoti.

Alsvin luminere is way better then civic rebirth, corolla, city and yaris interms of features and driving. Alsvin 1500cc provide you average of 16 with a light foot and on sport mode with heavy foot provide you avg of 9 to 10 within city.

Jis ne alsvin under 30 li hai. He has a good deal. I bought alsvin lumier in 28. After 50k km gari mai issues start ho gay han. Like engine foundation mounts are damaged. Water body noising.
Pair of mounts costing around 37,000 and water body around 55,000. Spare parts costs also reason of failing this brand.
In initial years everything was good i was also in love of this machine. But now things are going to worse even after 50k kms.
What about 100k km warranty claim
How did the company representatives treat you when you went with these issues ?
Were they nice with you ? Did they have etiquettes of after sales service?
What Did they have to say about the issues you faced? Did they say apki ghalti hai. Apnay rough chalai ?

Whatever you say about Toyota yaris and honda but the truth is they are considered to be most reliable, time has proven that thing.the comfort level, durability, brand value, and dealership network have great impact on resell value. This is same like samsung vs Chinese Mobiles.

Aap bilkul theek keh rahay hain. Aur ager quality ki baat ki jaiy to Alsvin ka sab say barra negative point, iss gaarri mein DCT transmission ka hona hai. DCT is the worst and most unreliable transmission you can have in Pakistani Auto industry now a days. Ager iss mein bhi Yaris aur City ki terha CVT hota to zayada reliable hoti.

I think in comparison with city, yaris, alsvin.... Swift beats all three in comparison with build quality (imported Japanese chasis) , Power, Reliability, cabin space, looks, fuel average and Drive Quality plus features....
But if you must need a trunk then alsvin for sure city & yairs are decade old cars, Customers should avoid these cars which are scrapped all over the world to Pakistan.
I am in love with the new Swift as well. But unfortunately, 5 million is a lot of money for a hatchback.
People prefer sedan over style any day in Pakistan. Usually, the ones to buy a hatchback are the people who already have a sedan, and are rather looking for a second car.
@@AbdulAzizakaAbdi Your absolutely right about the Pakistani perspective, But in Europe and Uk even Civic's, Corolla's, and yaris are preferred hatchbacks. Reason maneuver ability in the cities unlike big countries like Usa. If you opting for city usage Swift is better.
Secondly in the history of Pakistan prices of anything never came back once when they go up.
It will never go to 40m again for any car.
What we should now consider is price and economic stability same prices shouldn't go up for 1 year, unlike they did in 2018-2023...
And people should be able to Equate with inflation by raise in their income's. Unlike now salaries are same like from 2021's. Afterwards the car market will get some stability and people will accept the prices.

Changan as a company has done relatively well comparing it to other new companies in Pakistan.
Even Alsivn was a hit. But unfortunately due to devaluation of rupee and economic unstabibilty, it sales has taken a toll.
