I would agree on you with all the points especially sunroof being a worthless feature but I would strongly disagree on ventilated seats. Ventilated seats are a really important feature and worth upgrading to a higher variant in my opinion. Peace ✌️

I would like to correct your point on ventilated seats. I totally respect for your opinion but it is useful specially in India where temperature is rising so much and it is a useful feature . However, I would not recommend it from manufacturer as it only come in higher models of the car rather you can purchase it from the after market. I am using it for last 8 months and it's working absolutely great.
We value your opinion, but the reason why we have told to skip is that it comes only in the highest variant and seat jaise cheeze bohot crucial hote hain in the long term car ownership experience so not to take risk with aftermarket stuff...that's why, otherwise as we said it is a great feature of your willing..🙌

So basically buying a base or 2nd base model of any car is best? We’re planning to buy a car, and due to these similar reasons, we’re confused between XUV 3XO AX5 and Toyota Hyryder/Creta/Elevate Base Model.
Which car totally depends on your personal preference, but if you're not going for absolute luxury and are going for value for money then getting the second base model and adding required stuff later on will be quite beneficial.
All are skipped only music system chaheyea with 4 speaker & 1 base.

You can also discuss some Cars accessories should not be touched or even for certain specific brands. As doing so causes issues to the car fittings thereby causing noises etc. Ranking cars by there ease of mod-ability. compared to others. Just mentioning this as a magnite user I got stock company fitted car no issues. However I have seen people modifying cars after purchasing base model and complaining about issues.

Manufacturer cameras are better aligned for the car but if you're getting a lower variant then go for a decent camera with a screen it will help a lot.

Instead this can be must have features which every manufacturer should made as standard.
1. Good visibility Projector halogen/LED headlamps standard.
2. Seat height adjustable seat belts standard.
3. Tilt and telescopic steering standard.
4. All 5 adjustable head rests standard.
5. Electronic Adjustable and Foldable ORVMS if possible.
6. 6 Airbags standard.
7. Auto climate control if possible.
8. 360 degree camera if possible.
9. 2 remote keys most manufacturers are omitting this by providing single remote key.
10. Center armrest.
Yeah above all comes with price but most value for money in terms of comfort and convenience.

Sure, as we said it might make sense for some, but for the majority, we can agree that it is not worth the price paid for it.
rear wipper/defogger, saved my a$$ on a rainy day especially needed with new hatchback/SUVs with slopping rooflines.

Touchscreen infotainment system is present nowadays in mostly in mid variant of cars...
But i think , they are perfect for their work , so no need of after market infotainment system if your car already have manufacturer infotainment system..
Cheap aftermarket infotainment have worst experience, so i prefer company fitted infotainment system because they are mostly lag free

Also, not to buy any car model without rear AC vents. It's a very basic feature that even every car's base model must have. If your car doesn't have rear AC vents, then you are ignoring the comfort of your own family members/kids sitting on back seat, who may always feel suffocated during every drive.
But sometimes in some cars the AC vents on the front is powerful enough for everyone in the car, especially hatchback and mini suvs
Astor sprint and astor shine there is difference of almost 2 lacs. Additional features are rear camera, alloy wheels, roof rails, fog lights are the major differences is it worth it to pay almost 2 lacs more or is it better to get after market installation? Totally depends on what kind of guy you are. Basically, If you're a jugaad lover then you'll love aftermarket choices, if you're not a risk taker then go with manufacturer.
While showroom models are priced high, lower priced Android models need caution. Firstly, they are not usually of the specification claimed. Secondly, they have extremely poor sound quality, which may necessitate the addition of an amplifier. Thirdly, be very careful of wiring in modern cars. Many fires are caused by improper wiring.
Better to spend a bit more on a known brand like Sony or Pioneer and have the system installed by authorised persons. Best would be to get a showroom piece and have them install it.

Touch screen is a must for me and i will not it aftermarket because those screens have very awful looking UI and they never look good inplace of factory fitted system...
Try branded aftermarket ones...it's awesome atleast better than MS ones

Depends from dealer to dealer honestly. For unrelated warranty claims, most dealers tend to overlook after-market modifications. But in case there’s a major fire or something in your car, it’s pretty much a given the car-maker will blame the aftermarket work done on your car and lay itself off any blame for the fire.

Aftermarket good 360 degree cameras are available and installation is also easy. I have seen it in Alto K10 lxi and it works good.
Yes since Alto K10 doesn't have 360° option, it's also a decent choice..

Will the warranty be affected if touchscreen is aftermarket? The showroom charges 50k for a ordinary 8 inch screen whereas for 50k I can get a 12 in screen outside.
No sir, screen is something that can be removed before warranty claims, so technically warranty is not affected, but on ground we have seen many times when warranty was denied and sometimes warranty was granted - totally depends on the person in charge of warranty claims.
Sunroof - the most useless feature to exist in car till date. No added advantage, just show-off

Important points
One thing I dont agree with, infotainment displays that are available after market are of poor quality and my freinds who got base models of expensive cars and got the screen after market, say the same.
Another reason is that it sticks out.. they are made to be compatible as many car models as possible because of which they do not provide a clean fit in the new car
Ofcourse but it's better then nothing. One of our team guys got a superb Sony screen for the base model car and it's fantastic

Yes warranty is always a big question that's why we advised to go with aftermarket only for cosmetic and lighter components which can easily be reversed.
But aftermarket electric ka kuch kaam karvaya toh its not safe it can catch fire

We have made a separate video for alloys... For headlight, if you think your manufacturer ones are too dim, do get it aftermarket, but check the lumen rating so you don't get stopped by police.

OEM 360 camera in budget cars are of very bad quality. And the aftermarket ones are very much cheap with best quality. One can install them in any stereo with very less cost at around 10-15000

@@ShiftClubMedia there's no perticular brand of it. You can install any branded good quality camera like blaukpnt and all with any Chinese stereo or any OEM stereo. Search on TH-cam you'll find many aftermarket shopkeepers install them. You don't need to buy an stereo for that it'll be shown in your current touch screen stereo if the specs are not too low. Hypersonic blaukpant and many more

Han bhai, uska kuch nhi kar sakte. Current ADAS tech will only help with frontal collision. Unless the car behind also has ADAS. But isme ek chiz note karne wali hai ki 90% fatal accident front se hi hote hain and rear impact me nuksaan Kam hota hai.
