Homa Bay Town on the shores of Lake Victoria - Kenya

Located in the Southern part of Nyanza, along the southern shores of Lake Victoria- Africa’s largest Fresh water lake. Known for its scenic hills and picturesque shoreline, Homa Bay County covers an area of 3,183.3 sq km with a population of about 1.3m million people.

Beautiful video of Homabay town.A clean,organised and rapidly progressing tourist town.Gladys Wanga,Homabay governor was ranked best perfoming in the country in 2023 by TimelyKenya magazine .Ruma national park,home of the nearly extinct roan antelope is nearby,as well as numerous islands full of magnificent sites and birds and fishes:Rusinga,Takawiri,Mfangano,Migingo,Sena etc.Can be accessed waterbuses,boats,aeroplane.Airstrip nearby.
