I had the pleasure of meeting Doris Speed a number of times, a lovely funny lady...with a touch of the Annie Walker about her lol.
Lucky you, I'm very jealous - Annie Walker was an absolute legend and so was the wonderful actress who played her, Doris Speed. I always think it's a shame she left without a big send off, as she deserved. I think she intended to return, but then never did. If ever a Street character deserved a strong exit storyline, it was Annie.
Wow, that's great - from what I understand she had the wonderful, all too rare quality of being able to laugh at herself - I wish I'd met her too.
What a lovely episode.
Episode 299 was it Len who destroyed that lady’s house?
omg what a great episode - thank you so much
Awe what a Great episode!! A Young Doris/Annie ❤💜
Looks like a young Elizabeth Windsor.
you probably dont care at all but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Westley Quentin Instablaster =)
@Keaton Luis i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Keaton Luis It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!
Great episode. I was born six weeks later. ☺
It's surprising that Len ever got any work done he was nearly always blind drunk, when he wasn't getting tanked up in the rovers or some party, he was swinging whisky out of a hip flask
Must be why he needed Jerry (and later Ray) at the yard-to ‘carry’ him.
Len Fairclough-the inspiration for EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell.
he was just a big a lush as Stan Ogden
2:02 he offers Baby Christopher a drop out of the flask😂😂😂😂
He started to gain a lot of weight also
Makes sense that they'd celebrate Annie. As they say, there may be free ale in it. Thank you for posting! It had been awhile since I saw this funny episode.
The best episode ever thanks so much
Ty so much for uploading these episodes great fan from nz 💓
brings a tear to ones eye
I believe they did a real, This Is Your Life, for Doris Speed, about 1990.
I thought that too, but looking it up, Doris never did have a real This is Your Life, but she did appear in shows for Jack Haworth, Julie Goodyear and Pat Phoenix.
Imagine if Ena had been right and it had been Martha’s ‘This Is Your Life’. ....
Ahh the good old days when all the cast and crew could be heard off-screen coughing their guts up.
Proper gritty back then
In a charming way though, more real to life from Working-class folk. Unlike the shite the show is today. The only resemblance it has is the name it carries.
Martha Longhurst’s last Christmas 😢😢😢
🎉🌋🥳😝
How did Dennis organise all that without Annie having a clue? All stuff from her past being gathered together?
he googled it all-lol
@@jimdavis3435 And he WhatsApped and Zoomed Joan, Billy, Esther and the other guy! 😂😂
That poor child doesn’t know what’s going on! 😊
Len with a baby? Who let him breed? OMG! He's a nasty drunk and street bully.
@ Stan Crouch: Len's son Stanley in the series was portrayed by Peter Noone, future frontman with Herman's Hermits.
It was Harry's kid.
1:31 Christopher is a handsome little fella
Yes - He reminds me of Andy Pandy
She didn't die after all!!
It suits her!!
"If its me...No Americans!"
ta w ta on eh
3 and tuppence hapeney. 😂
