I am very certain that Jetstar flies with airworthy aircraft and that the overall maintenance of the A/C is in accordance with Australian and international regulations. Other than that, great video. Just regarding the usage of the term ‘aircraft maintenance’, this term is used interchangeably to refer to both the engineering aspects and technicalities of the operational worthiness of the plane as well as cleanliness. In fact when planes are on the ground they will often refer to cabin cleanliness as ‘maintenance’ (in addition to using the term to refer to a range of other operational aspects). So when I talk about aircraft maintenance, I’m referring to using this umbrella term that can refer to all the aspects. Im fairly certain (and hopeful) that JQ flies airworthy planes. Nicely done mate love the down to earth style of your reviews! Keep up the great work and a huge congrats on getting to 1k recently. It takes so much hard work and dedication to get there but I think things will really start to grow now for you :) Never really had a bad experience with Jetstar in the air only on the few occasions they have cancelled on the ground. Quite like there bundle structure too particularly the Starter Max Bundle! They might not be the most exciting airline but when they get you from point a to b at a good price and a minimum of fuss they are just fine!
My experiences with Jetstar Aus and Asia are much better than Tiger AU (now gone), and Air Asia and Scoot... That said i have had a 6hr delay on a MEL-SIN flight.. thankfully it was when i was QF Plat so the wait in the F Lounge was decent. JQ did rebook me on the onward 3K flight to Thailand for the following morning, albeit i lost out on some sleep
I used to love JQ's toasties.... Until I had VA's. Either way, they're both my go to if I'm really hungry especially when I'm doing the PER-ADL runs. JQ to be honest has never failed me. Ever since I discovered row 1 on JQ economy, I've never looked back. Omg... Thanks for the shout out!
Virgin recently (like 2 months ago) changed the bread on their toasties to cut costs, I was told by one of their FAs, so the toastie is no longer my favorite haha. But I remember having it on the MEL-BNE flight and it was so good 🤤 In fairness, In terms of punctuality, JQ has never failed me either. In other aspects of their service they’ve fallen short multiple times however. Thanks for the on-going support man!
Normally when I visit Hobart, I fly VA albeit Qantas are too $$$$ and Jetstar have reliability issues. So VA everytime. Eat before arriving at the Terminal and save some money for those cool cafe in Hobart !

I would have no problem with Jetstar if they simply flew reliably from A to B and didn't constantly cancel flights at the last minute .Cleanliness would help too , especially these days .

I didnt pull the short straw when flying. But I do consider clean Qantas next time. But I am not angry with Jetstar. I want the head of BA's customer service for refusing to give me my points for clean Qantas flights. If they skipped giving me points & I had done LHR-PER-MEL then I would be even more crossed. In the future I will aim for clean Qantas flights, but BA avios goodbye-bye... But I heard this from the Auckland driver that drove me to the terminal for AKL-RAR In 2022: they are rip-offs fly air new zealand. I to didnt pull the short straw & I did get my luggage In Rarotonga. Because I have heard the story of people arriving without their luggage due to limited places to divert.

ooh! you flew on the same aircraft i flew on from MEL to TSV! VH-VQM. Niceee I flew on it in the lightyear livery tho.
