Thanks Clay for your conservation views. Many people in Florida and other TH-cam channels feel like they need to catch as much as they can for views or feed the entire neighborhood and extended family to be popular. Our fish in Florida need to be saved for future generations. You and Stephanie are great people. I watch your channel for the scenic views as a backdrop working from home and it is not about catching but the lifestyle of fishing that I miss away from my home state of Florida.
I honestly never hooked up on a sword in 15 minutes…. that speaks volumes about your skills at fishing, navigating and reading the ocean. Out off the Oregon Pacific coast we frequently get flotsam drifting west from Japan … crates, logs , 55 gal’ drums, Mae West type kapock life vest(😳)you name it. And as in the Atlantic, there are fish under there, often tuna. 👍 used to love hobby-horsing into those waves and have to say your Pathfinder is a slayer bay boat. Always an upbeat positive vibe with all your videos. Another great video from the best couple and best channel! Thanks guys.
I’ve had the privilege to visit the Keys twice so far. The first time in March 2016. We tent camped for 5 nights on Marathon and the weather was perfect. The second was in February 2018 and we were gonna tent camp for 2 nights in Key West but moments after we arrived the weather turned foul. Needless to say plans didn’t work out. After 1 night on base we decided to drive home 12 hours and cut our losses. That being said, whether it’s pristine conditions or otherwise, the keys are my favorite place to be. I just found your channel and have fallen in love with your content. If I am ever blessed to relocate to your neck of the woods I’ll definitely utilize Stephanie’s services to find my dream home. Keep it up guys. Your channel is my new favorite
It's not just that you guys are entertaining to watch, with gorgeous scenery above and below the water. It's not just that you are great at showing fish and catching them, not even the amazing conservationists that you are. It's that despite having an off day you always show the bright side of things, you always emphasize the positive and THAT is what drew me, and I'm betting a lot of your audience to you!! Clay, you and Stephanie are so inspirational and positive both with the channel, and your Day Jobs and it's just lovely to see that stability. I have friends with a TH-cam channel that are struggling right now, but they keep trying different things to keep going and that never give up attitude is why I watch them (and they are hilarious). You might be surprised at the number of negative, and channels with hosts that seem to not be able to speak without swearing every second word. I understand frustration and saying so but like the Rolling Stones song goes "You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you'll find, you get what you need". Thanks again so much for letting us tag along on your adventures, and I hope you continue to show positivity in adversary, that's a good measure of character in my opinion. If I may, a little shout out to my friends at www.youtube.com/@CandEAdventures for giving your all,...all the time!! Can't wait to see where you take us next time, and I'm still really, really impressed with that Pathfinder 2400 Open, it just shines through everything! I don't know anything about fishing but want to learn. Do the porpoises and dolphins go after your bait? What do you do to keep them off? I certainly don't want to hook one of those babies. I saw you using a purple hoochie ..was one of the best trolling lures we ever used up here in New Jersey… 12 to 15 pound bluefish loved it-we caught 50 12-15 lbers one year in an hour trolling 4 lines..awesome results
@@LifeByTheBow , ur very welcome. Ur videos are interesting and enjoyable. Ur videograohy is exceptional and ur messages are inspiring. I have a question. 10:37 also, if the fish is questionable, release. Although, bummer 😕
Agreed, appreciate you watching!
@@LifeByTheBow Always!
If its a big fish thats questionable like a sword, you can always use the gaff inside the mouth like a big hook to hold them while someone else measures.
Great input, appreciate you sharing that!
Great video guys,as always, sure do wish I could afford to live down there, me and my husband are on fixed incomes, one can dream I guess 👍🙏❤️😎🐳
