Man... I would love to attend a LeMans event once atleast before I kick the bucket. The only 24h event I ever attended was the '09 Spa 24h race and was only possible because we were visiting ETH Zurich on a uni trip and a bunch of us snuck away for the weekend from our main group along with a few German students that were headed there. Was bloody glorious though. Camping in the woods in rain FTW. xD
Also, when you said it's your "first experience of cars on track", I thought you meant just for this event! As I'm sure you'll now agree, being at a motorsport event is amazing - you get such a rush from just watching cars go by - there's no way to properly explain it, but you need to keep doing it man! I go to every event I can!
This looks like one day at the Goodwood Festival of Speed! It's crazy busy there too, and you end up like a Magpie "OOOH LOOK AT THAT CAR! OOH LOOK AT THAT ONE!" Good videos Jimmy, glad you enjoyed it!
Hey jimmer, I was bored so I went through all of your vids and found this beauty, hopefully you see this because im 3 years late but you’re vids are 10/10 and you should gimme a smooch
I was there in 84, Ludwig and Pescarolo won in the Joest 956B , and I returned in 1990 and saw Brundle win the Silk Cut Jag! But why I haven't returned since remains a mystery?
Very nice video, I was there too for the first time and it was awesome! I do recommend taking the monday off work and then driving back. You can just have no stress after the race, cam'ings are still 30% full, toilets are working and you have a good night of sleep to drive back. Just one thing though, HOW IS THE FERRARI LOUDER THEN THE VIPER?!?! That thing make my beercan shake when it got past every lap :D
Nice Video. I have been there two times now and will go next year aswell. If you havew problems following the race, take a radio with headphones and listen to RadioLeMans. Awesome broadcasting with really sympathic guys! :)
I'd say going to any 24h race is an EXPERIENCE. I've been to 24h of Spa and 24h of Zolder so far and even the grid being only GT3 cars (at Spa) it still is unforgettable. The nooiiiiiizzzzze!!! I usually get 2-3h of sleep through the whole event and that too by the fence ;-) This year going to Spa again but planning to do the whole experience - beginning on Wednesday. Anyone interested in racing should do it. I tell ya it's better than 2weeks of holidays!
I would like to attend a Le Mans 24h. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and im looking foward some tips, like places, how many days is necessary to spend there, grandstands, access to pitlane, parade, etc. Nice vídeo, saved on my playlist Endurance XP.

Vette is even louder lol
Mika_012397 hmm they were close, but I tought the viper was a bit louder. Anyways american cars...
kawayuri28 Well sadly there was no viper at spa but the larbre vette was definitely A LOT louder than anything else.
The astons are pretty loud too
Frederrik Rasmussen Those don't create a minor earthquake like the vette does though that car is just incredible to see racing irl.

Looked like a blast! I need to go there sometime.
