Himeji Castle with dancing egrets A fusion of beauty and strategy

This castle originated as a fort built by Akamatsu Norimura in 1346, and was renovated into a full-scale castle by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1580. Later, it was extensively reconstructed into its present form by Ikeda Terumasa. From the castle tower, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and experience the moment when the past and the present intersect.
