Yeah so Modest! Management and Syco records (both with Simon Cowell). But Louis is no longer with them because Syco has been shut down, and Harry has signed with Columbia Records. They aren't signed to Modest but often artists are still in smaller contracts for a while after that disables them from saying things that they want to (e.g the companies secrets) . So it's a theory that the friendship narrative comes out (where Louis and Harry are portrayed as friends to introduce Larry to the public again). With all the 'friendship' articles ~ that's happening to make it seem as though their relationship had a natural come out, not that their management stopped them from doing so. It would have to happen a while after both the boys left their management so to the outside eye it doesn't seem like they were forced into the closet. I'm terrible with my words today but I hope that makes sense?
