Equally obsessed with your handwriting as I am with grey inks. You should do a video in the future on your penmanship, so I can shamelessly nerd out over it. ;)
Thank you so much! 😭 I don't think I'm quite good enough for a penmanship video yet, but if you really want one I'd be happy to make it, haha Anything specific you'd want to see me write/talk about?
@@CreepyNibs Ah now, don't sell yourself short. It's not about perfection and this isn't calligraphy, it's handwriting. Tbh, I'd love to just see how you do all the different letterforms (especially capitals) and maybe how you developed your handwriting style. Did you learn that in school or decided to practice Spencerian / business script? I'm originally from Poland and we've been taught a very different script in school, more like a very simplified copperplate, so your kind of handwriting always really intrigues me.
It really is! I love both this and the Monteverde of the same name, and the stone they're named after too! It writes beautifully. Always happy to share, thank you for watching! 🖤
Yes!!! It’s so pretty! I’m so glad you have an awesome pen friend who got you this because I love your review the best. 😻 I’ve seen mixed reviews about the ink and yours is awesome. I really hope they come out with a pen! (M205?!? That would be 🤘🏼) and your inky challenge will be yours, so do what you want. 😹
I was scared it was gonna be way too light, but that's readable! Ugghh I love your writing. And usually I like warmer greys so I'm surprised I like this. I keep trying to do 30 inks in 30 days but I always get lazy midway. Oh well. Hope you enjoy it! (Okay if I share this video to fountain pen network-philippines?)
Thank you so much! 🖤 I much prefer warmer greys too, but this one is complex and interesting enough that I love it already. It's very much a medium grey, in my opinion, especially in a wetter nib like the dip pen I'm using in the video. I'd loooove to see what it does with a stub or italic nib. I'll have to keep you posted on performance and such though. And you're more than welcome to share any of my videos anywhere you'd like! I'm not so sure I'll actually end up completing 31Inks31Days, but it won't even be a possibility if I don't start! haha
It's a Spencerian style, sometimes called Business penmanship! There's a great series by OpenInkStand and Calligraphy that helped me a lot with learning the letterforms, she's amazing. Thanks so much for asking! 🖤 (also it's "they" not "he" but I completely understand the assumption, haha)
RIGHT THO??? 😭 I have bottles of both Winter Dawn and Ocean Breeze and they were supes disappointing tbh, they're both that same weird greenish grey I'm not a fan of. NOW KALA OPAL ON THE OTHER HAND IS A FUCKING GODDESS YOU NEED IN YOUR LIFE.
Even though they're similar, they're both fantastic colors! I don't wanna say I hate boring greys, but I'm definitely not as fond of them as I am of greys like these. They're really fun to do art with too since you can bring out all those shades underneath and it complements everything so well. I can't wait to see what this one can do! I hope you love them as much as I do and that I haven't led you astray, haha 🖤

YESSSS! This ink is definitely on my must-have list! 🖤
Very pretty ink! At first I confused it with Monteverde Moon Stone just by the name only! Thanks for the review of this lovely ink!!!!

Can I get some help as to what style/font he's writing in? Thanks in advance! I just got mine in and I love this color!
