LOVE this. I am in a rich area for abandoned Victorians but I need to "squad up" because I am 71. I don't want to do it alone. I like that your curiosity makes you look into everything. It is satisfying.
There are abandoned buildings around where I live, but a lot of squatters also. I can't find anyone to explore with me and I'm not brave enough to go it alone. Maybe if I wasn't in my 60's... Thanks to all of you explorers who take us with you!!!🏚🏚
This is my first time video with this channel. I love old houses and this one is beautiful and will watch more, but I don't believe in ghosts and that kind of spoils it for me a little, but I'll still watch. Thank you.
An amazing structure! This place is built like a rock. So sturdy. Those high doors are interesting and unique. The trim and all the other materials are so nice and detailed. Amazing brickwork too. This was a rich family originally, no question. Back in the day, this must have been breathtaking. I can just imagine the shiny, polished interior!
Amazing explore! This needs to go on the best of the best of your adventures! Do you think the building out back could have been a summer kitchen? Or did i miss seeing a kitchen in the main house? She had to be a beauty back in the day. As always youve done a fantastic job! Thanks....
@carolyndavis7476 I think there is a kitchen in the main house ,I couldn't open the door to it. This was definitely one of my favorites, and may go back again to see that kitchen possibly. I think that's where the stairs lead.
Nice! I absolutely love these old homes, barns, buildings etc. It does have me a bit sad though knowing that someone lived there with family, all the love, memories.. I bet this was a beautiful house in its time.
@Raggedy-Ann I actually went back there last night with some other you tubers and got to see the kitchen..I will upload it soon. Thank you for watching ❤️
Wow! What an incredible find! I just love this history and abandoned super old buildings. I try and imagine these places lively and the going ons in my mind. Wish I could be there. There is nothing like this in California! 😐
Hello! Before you go into the main house and your on the porch that has the rotted floor right at an entrance, clearly, you can hear what sounds like a little girl saying "Hi!"
It would be nice to know who built the place. That old log structure could have been the first house while the brick home was being built. Looks really old doesn't it. Probably was the outside kitchen later, back in the day they kept the kitchen separate because of the risk of fire. Then the cook just lived in the kitchen building. Sure would be neat to have an archaeological dig, see what's in the ground. Lot of bricks went into the house, too, still look really good. Just love this kinda exploring, thanky for the look see. Hope you are having a great Christmas. Watching this while a turkey is in the oven. 🍗😋🎀🎁🎄🥂🍾
@karenwright9123 merry Christmas! I'm glad you enjoyed this ,i sure enjoyed exploring it. Could have possibly been a kitchen or possibly slave quarters. Enjoy your turkey 😋
Hello from London uk ❤ I LOVE this, so beautiful and the slave hut is important to history, fascinating and should be preserved. The well is terrifying, I wish someone would put the plug back on the top so that no child or animal may fall in. Take care of yourself doing these vids - if you were my mother of sister I’d go crazy at you for doing this alone 😂❤
At sometime in history there was a tax on windows-so full size floor to ceiling “doors” which could be used as windows were designed and fooled the tax guy!
Hold on now! Did I miss the attic, kitchen and basement tour? 😏. I can’t place your southern drawl, what State is this if you don’t mind me asking. I’d bought a home from the 1800’s and it had a half bath under the stairs, story was they had too many kids and had to add another toilet. I really love seeing videos like this, thank you!
@Riverwalker44 It's kentucky I didn't take the sketchy stairs that led to the kitchen, I've not seen attic access other than a whole in the ceiling upstairs and the basement access was blocked outside. I've since gone back with another you tuber and did see the kitchen and will put that video out soon.

Beautiful old place!
The 2 doors on the 1st floor probably lead to the kitchen area, for some reason you didn't advance to it.
@MaryElkins-f8m I did try to open the door but it wouldn't open.
I guess I missed that part.
The so called mansion looks like the size of a typical upper middle class home of today.
