She was a practicing psychiatrist, so she’s highly educated. Has it ever been explained why she was suddenly a high-level gymnast, martial artist, and weapons expert when she became Harley Quinn?

I love the black and red hair. I'm not a huge fan of the wig though. I can really tell it's a wig and the way the color was applied just looks weird to me. The first Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey made the wigs look way more realistic. The start of this movie when she had her hair braided was really good but it just looked odd for the rest of the movie. Idk maybe I'm just too picky lol

The scene when she shoot the president was truly a Harley Quinn moment in its trust form from her killing a guy that she liked instead of turning him down because he was fine with killing kids, to her statement about all his pretty little evil thoughts being all over the floor, to her going sane for 5 sec to question that a gun used for display purposes actually had a bullet in it. It’s scenes like this and her escape that shows us that The Suicide Squad understood Harley Quinn more then the Harley Quinn movie. Oh and the Harley Quinn movies version of Black Canary was shit to.
I agree. Personally, this is only the time I’ve liked modern Harley Quinn, other than in her animated show. I feel her other appearances in the DCEU as well her comic counterpart are what every edgy emo 13-16 girl imagines themselves as but here she feels truly unhinged.
I feel like nobody noticed the meta-irony of people talking about killing kids constantly throughout the movie and Harley saying it's a red flag, when Gunn was fired from Disney for old jokes about killing kids among other things.

The island nation of Corto Maltese looks like a lovely place to visit and has one of the most inclusive military forces I've ever seen, with both men and women serving. I felt so bad for them throughout the whole film.

The scene when she shoot the president was truly a Harley Quinn moment in its trust form from her killing a guy that she liked instead of turning him down because he was fine with killing kids, to her statement about all his pretty little evil thoughts being all over the floor, to her going sane for 5 sec to question that a gun used for display purposes actually had a bullet in it. It’s scenes like this and her escape that shows us that The Suicide Squad understood Harley Quinn more then the Harley Quinn movie.
Oh and the Harley Quinn movies version of Black Canary was shit to.
I agree. Personally, this is only the time I’ve liked modern Harley Quinn, other than in her animated show. I feel her other appearances in the DCEU as well her comic counterpart are what every edgy emo 13-16 girl imagines themselves as but here she feels truly unhinged.

I feel like nobody noticed the meta-irony of people talking about killing kids constantly throughout the movie and Harley saying it's a red flag, when Gunn was fired from Disney for old jokes about killing kids among other things.
I really wish she had a story that was made into a movie like the joker, her own story about the beginnings of a crazy harley quinn and her quick killing skills 😎🎭

I guess you can say that.. But even if she was in all black she would still stand out. Her character as Harley Quinn and the execution of it is just to good. Dead shot also stood out to me in the first suicide squad and he had the same colors as everyone else. I guess it's because of the banter BTW him and Harley Quinn but also because of his acting or maybe simply because he was played by will Smith.

We love her! And I love her! I used to be obsessed with her and every now and then I’ll find myself coming back to her. I don’t know why but she’s just a really fascinating character……crazy, but fascinating. She looked so beautiful in that dress. I love the part when she breaks the guard’s neck with her thighs. That was a totally badass moment. The Suicide Squad was awesome!
