I seen Pantera in 94:I consider myself lucky cause that could never be recreated even if the brothers were still here.the vibrant youth and thirst for greatness, one would just had to be there.to really know how great it was.still blessings to all that are keeping the brothers memories around
That goes to all the bands, most are past their prime and the shows just aren’t the same but being able to still get a glimpse of what once was is a blessing
I saw them 7 times between 1994-2001. You're right, even if Vince and Dime were alive and a part of this tour it still wouldn't be the same. They're older and don't have the energy for that kind of performance, and every single one of these guys except for maybe Charlie has struggled with substances that have taken their toll. Sadly, mosh pits have been slowly dying for the better part of a decade, because the average metal concert attendee is in their 40's or 50's and we don't play that shit anymore. If we do go into the pit, it's in 20 second intervals every other song.
I’m 43, and will refuse to see any band in a massive 75k venue. And I love Metallica. They’ve just out priced my fandom. It’s ok, I’ll live and love em forever
@@mOnStErMACEOstill not the same as being there. Sux ticket prices are what they are now. But with no record sells its tickets n merch they make their money off now. Sux for some fans.
I'm 62 and cant be like I was in 97, that was my first Pantera show with Zombie. Mayhen at its best and Phil slamming Metallica for selling out on the Black album. Saw them 2 more times including the last tour. All 3 shows sold out and not an idle body in the crowd. Just don't feel the excitement or energy anymore with any bands from my generation. I know that Dime and Vinnie would be grooving out to this tribute though. ✝️ Dime 🎸and 🥁Vinnie CFH FOREVER!!! GETCHA PULL!!!
I've thought about this a lot since this started and I agree that it is NOT Pantera. I am glad new fans get to hear these songs live and that Rex and Phil get to play these songs again. Too bad Dime and Vinny didn't have kids and they could get some of this ca$h.
Sucks they couldn’t get some nighttime to at least have light effects. Oh well, score another one for the Metallica machine. They think they are slick. Business masterminds!!! I’ll sit here with an entire right leg tattooed dedicated to Metallica. I’m allowed

You *Saw Pantera in '94......not *seen
Yeah, I saw them on that tour: Prong/Sepultura/Pantera.
San Diego Sports Arena.
Best concert ever!!

Exactly. The bands don't have the fire and energy that they did back in the day---but neither do we!!
So we can't blame them. LOL
sounds great
Love the fact that this is what metal heads in their 50s and 60s are up to nowadays
🤘😊🤘

Plus I’ve seen em 5 times and have about 10 blu rays and or DVDs!

Same thing the boomers were up to a two and three decades ago.

@@LEDZEP769 I'm 45. I was 16 (almost 17) when I saw them at Hara Arena in Dayton, OH on that tour with White Zombie. Deftones and EYEHATEGOD opened.
That voice comes out at that age? It's crazy.Anselmo is crazy.
It's more like the Phil and Rex show....
It ls
Metal is not for standing around.
The Abbots are dead, deal with it. Phil made pantera what it was, Darrell is missed but life goes on
Phil got skinny again
Did he get fit for the tour or did he lose weight from all the touring?
@@tonybp Probably both 😄
Seen these guys at the Warfield in s.f. in the 90s when white zombie opened for them
they sound good but they get swallowed up on that stage. Phil walking barefoot with no energy isnt very pantera like
The human body can only take so much punishment and now they are 50-60 years old they can not perform the same as their youthful selves did.
@@motoguy7281 i agree and just think they show better on a smaller stage
This is like the Allman Brothers with no Allman brothers

Elvis Presley without Elvis.

This is not Pantera. More like Panera Bread.
It’s going to be rough for you when you discover you’re not funny.

BORING!! So Limp without Dime n Vin!💩💩💩! Pantera fans would be Beating up the Shitallica crowd back in 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 2000!
Couldn't afford tickets, eh?
What a joke band. Have to play with the lights on. Under someone else. Folks. The lights are on. Look at the crowd. Pathetic. Hope they got paid.
it's daytime
Heh heh hmm... This sucks. Change it.
Lame stage, lame band. Empty stands, a trump rally?😂
Nothing more lame than voting for the establishment that the propaganda supports.
