Hey how come the one I use puts out a lot of dust in the air setting off the fire alarms? Does the wheel adjustments for the pad pressure make a difference if it’s towards the front instead of the back mine is right in the middle of the I got 3 more holes I can go forward with
As a floor technician, I noticed that when you put the new pad on, the rotator should be turned REALLY TIGHT. Maybe it was the video itself, but it didn't seem like it was concave enough. What you want to do is turn that rotator until you can't turn it anymore. What I do when I put on a brand new pad is after rotating the disk as far as I can go, I then take my hand over the rotator and ensure that it is COMPLETELY concave, that is to say, I make sure it is beyond flush with the pad.
You cant burnish the corners. Before you burnish you polish the floor, it makes it look shiny, what burnishing does is mostly strengthen the floors polish.
@Grant dubridge just make sure that the floors are THOROUGHLY cleaned first. Use a doodle bug for the edges and a scraper for the corners, pretreating the edges with some cleaner will help with the shine. You can also mop with spray buff first, get into the edges with a loop mop. Let dry completely, then burnish. You can also mop with a mixture of floor finish (wax)& water, let dry then burnish, Trust me I know from experience. Also I would be remiss in my advice as a true custodian if I didn't tell you that the slower you go when burnishing, the deeper the shine and the longer it'll last. Hope this info is helpful. Good luck. Also mopping with a shine restorer will be beneficial. MAKE SURE YOU GET THOSE EDGES AND CORNERS. PLEASE REMEMBER TO DUST MOP BEFORE AND AFTER BURNISHING. THIS IS THE PROPER WAY TO DO THIS.
Depends on what your wanting to achieve . I usually use a white pad, I have used hog hair pads but they are course and will take a lot of floor finish off. Of the floor isn’t in bad shape, I’d use a white pad or Champaign.
Yeah, I know where he made a mistake but, he did catch it though ,he also seemed like he struggled entirely too much with that new pad.I don't think I've ever had that much trouble putting out of new pad before
Best training video I've seen so far! Better than the training I received for the company I work for

Very good training but I have a question on the machine. I have the same machine and how can i call and find more information.
Seems like a good boss
So we have to buff and burnish both?
Love that 4stroke sound

Are we supposed to run propane burnishers on full throttle when burnishing?
How many R.P.M.'S IS This machine?
Too many
Do you send it in for oil changes or do u happen to due that in shop and if so what type of oil do you use ? Thank you for the video
Very easy. Same as changing a riding mower oil. 10w30
How do you get into corners to make them have a good shine?
Maybe a heat gun to heat up the wax?

I remember seeing one in use. They sound like a cub cadet scag. I almost got fired for not wearing ear muffs while using one as well.
Sir which buffer pad is good ?

Imagine having to use that thing for hours. It’s sounds like a Harley lol I like electric. Good information though.
