i bought a 20g perth mint bar sealed from a reputable dealer and when i asked him to scan it using the XRF gun, he did but it showed it was 95.8% gold through the plastic packaging, he said this is normal, and it wont show 99.9% gold through the plastic, is this true?
Hi. I wonder if this bar is a fake one or a real one ? I bought one, years ago... (in a gold broker) Exactly the same as this one, same font for the serial number, same packaging etc... But i saw some vidéos they say serial nbr should begin with B ? I'm just asking... Because mine is exactly like this one.
@@ainsliebullion are you Perth mint ? I got a few bits of silver at Edlins in Canberra quite some time ago now and searched up a few bars they had for sale, to my surprise Perth mint had 175 dollars on one tyre of one ounce silver bars they produced.
No, we're not Perth Mint, but we are one of their authorised distributors. Premiums for Perth Mint 1oz gold minted bars are very reasonable and the $175 silver bar you mention would have been a special collectors numismatic type product, not regular bullion.
I'm never going to buy anything related to the Perth Mint on principle... you can't even buy online from there on the weekend or out of business hours. What a joke.
Even fakes one also in tamper evidence casing with serial number on it. Perth mint should put the serial number on the gold bar itself or us QR code veriscan technology

Those are nice bars. The only gold bars I personally stack are the Pamp Suisse Lady Fortuna
Das war wirklich aufschlussreich!
Sehr gut strukturiert, top!
What is the sweet spot weight for silver bars?
Silver is a horrible investment

B and C
What is on sale? Price discount?
I can't find a discounted price on the website.
Sale as in "for sale", not "on special". Apologies for the confusion!
I reckon perthmint should do a better job on the cardboard casing. At least the coins incapsulated
It's a hard plastic tamper evident casing.
Perth mint need to put extra security like qr scan
@@iggy5347yes I’m still not 100% my Perth mint is real despite getting it from a reputable source
New subscriber!! Will certainly be part of my stack !
Great to hear G.L!
Too easy to fake I have a 1 ounce bar from Perth mint it’s my least favourite bar I have.
Hate to know how much they want for it as they sold silver one ounce bars for $175 when spot was $32.
Do you mean us? What was the product specifically?
