killer video. great clarity. love the minimalist approach. nothing worse then listening to someone ad-lib about the cows in the field and their posse of home boys when all you really want to know is the steps at hand.

While you're at it, go ahead and replace that radiator with the awesome Mishimoto 3 core radiator. I installed one on my '05 Silverado about a year ago...love the cooler temps! I highly recommend installing one in yours! Oh, and replace that tired electric fan shroud as well.

will aftermarket fleece cooler lines work with this? i bought both without checking first…worried it won’t be compatible now and too late to return anything!

Unfortunately, this is not something we have specifically tested. Sorry! Good luck with the installation!

@ Okay thanks for the reply! After some research it seems like my fleece line kit comes with some hardware that should make it work! we shall see

Ok I’m admittedly new to owning a diesel and I feel like my trans runs on the hotter side. This is a great video and all. But doesn’t installing the new trans cooler in front of the radiator just cause the engine to run hotter? I get the transmission would be cooler. But the engine is cooled by the radiator right? And now that’s like half blocked. Anyone out there hopefully understand my question and can answer it?
