God has put in my heart as a English and Spanish speaker. Spanish being my 2nd language, to buy a KJV/RVR bible because of yesterdays evangelism! Heres what i found on Chick publications website. The words of God preserved in Spanish Readers have long known of problems in the Spanish Bible. The beloved Reina Valera was based on the Textus Receptus (TR) used by the early church but Valera himself said corrections were still needed. Revisions including the RV 1909 and 1960 were supposed to fix the problems, but instead added liberal readings changing God's words. After years of work, the Reina Valera Gómez (RVG) Bible is finally available. A true, "Textus Receptus" Bible, the RVG has been proofread and refined by Spanish-speaking Christians in 13 countries. This revision of the RV 1909 is the first Spanish Bible that is not the product of a small committee. Dr. Rex Cobb, of Baptist Bible Translators Institute, compared the RVG with other common Spanish Bibles to see how many times they departed from the traditional text (the TR). Here are the results: *The 1569 departed from the TR 75 times *The 1602 departed from the TR 57 times. *The 1862 departed from the TR 118 times. *The 1865 departed from the TR 28 times. *The 1909 departed from the TR 122 times. *The 1960 departed from the TR 191 times. *The 2001 departed from the TR 69 times. *The RVG(2010)departed from the TR ZERO times. source:www.chick.com/m/catalog/bibles/1298.asp
In Spanish, the word Dios is used for God. What if originally it was Dio or Deo? Dios seems to be plural. The word Holy Ghost is not really in Spanish. I see Espiritu Sancto but that is more like Holy Spirit. A ghost would be fantasma, espectro or espanto in Spanish. We know that apostle Paul went to Spain and Italy. I believe that the Holy Ghost will guide us into all truth as the old holy king James Bible saith. Do you love Christ JESUS enough to keep his holy days, new moons and seventh day sabbaths? Do you love Judge JESUS enough to stop eating unclean flesh (pork, chicken, and shrimps, etc) and to not get drunk? Because I love my Lord Jesus and want to reign as a king in the kingdom with him, I will not eat unclean flesh (swine [pig pork], chicken, shrimp, etc) nor drink poison. I will keep his holy days like the feast of passover and unleavened bread, his new moons and his seventh day sabbath from sunset Friday to sundown Saturday. If we endure to the end, we shall be saved. Salvation is a free gift from God but it cost the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember that Noah and Job were perfect because they trusted the LORD and kept his commandments, statues and judgments. REPENT.
@@jony891 Noah and Job were perfect, not sinless. Only our Lord Jesus is sinless and without sin. He expects us to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect. Luke 4:16 KJB clearly states that it was the custom of our Lord Jesus to go to church every sabbath. He was not a sundaykeeper and every sundaykeeper is on his way to hell if he does not repent. Why did the Gentiles ask Paul to come the next sabbath day so that they could hear the words of salvation? Acts 13:42, Acts 13:44. Why did Lydia a Greek and other Gentiles go to pray at a river on the sabbath? Acts 16:13. God only blessed, sanctified and hallowed the sabbath. Isaiah 66:22,23 and Colossians 2:16 prove that in the new earth, we shall worship God in the new moons and the sabbaths. He never blessed sunday.
English missionaries started the problem of the 1960 RVR Bible issue. I’m Hispanic and my fundamental Baptist church uses the 1960 RVR because of how God has used it through the old pastors of the faith.
The RV60 is what I have for a Spanish Bible. I believe the Mormons use the 1909 and LCBP uses the 1865 revision. I find the Reina-Valera a bit odd because it's Jehovist; I'd certainly prefer "el SEÑOR" to be used in places where the RV uses "Jehová".
@fnjesusfreak same, my parents are from mexico and im trying to get them to read the bible but the reina valera language is really hard to read for them because its spain spanish, The Nueva Biblia de Las Americas (NBLA ) was more easier for them to read&understand
Some words in the KJV cannot be translated into Spanish because it would sound inappropriate. For example, one cannot translate Holy Ghost into Spanish, so it’s translated into Espíritu Santo, instead of fantasma santo. These are things that one must consider when translating anything into another language. Different words used don’t necessarily change the meaning of something. There are words in the Koine Greek that could never be translated into the English language, but other words are used without sacrificing the integrity of the scripture.
Pastor thank you for your review local Chuch publications they have. A bilingual Bible. And they have 1865 can yo do a review and again I have the Reina Valera Gomes thank you for all you do God bless
Hi, all. I cannot type the lette between 'q' and 's.' I do not like the Gomez edition; in fact, I gave away a pemium edition. I stick to the 1569 facsimile and the 1909. Howeve , you can get a supe bilingual edition fom LCBP fo a song. I;ve sent these to Chile, and they a e ve y popula .
What about the (NBLA) Nueva Biblia de Las Americas? Is more easy to understand than all of the reina valera versions and majority of latin america reads the NBLA version
Try the Nuevo Testamento de La Reformacion by Dr. A. A. Hinojos Greek Spanish and English. Being revised as The Restored Neaw Testament. BREAKER exaggerates!
Like the KJV, the Holy Spirit has confirmed the Reina Valera 1960 as the word of God. I have heard people come up with false doctrine using the KJV and some of the most doctrinally sound Spanish speaking people I’ve heard use the RV 1960. We are doing the following: Matthew 23:24 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
The goal is not "closest to the King James." The goal is closest to the original langauges.
Right!

Yeah but the Holy Ghost isn’t a ghost either, he is a spirit. Ghost is just a word.
Is this Bible more accurate than the Valera 1602?
It is supposed to be, the RVG.

NBLA uses critical text base as far as I know. That one would be equivalent to the NASB
Kjv bible is much understanding.

So if the RV1960 is the devil's bible how did I get saved through it ?
Who said that?

Yeah don’t worry about it. The important thing is your reading your Bible.

The King James Bible is one of the less accurate translations, because it’s translated from Latin. It’s pretty, but not as accurate.
Senor should not be the word equivalent for Lord in Spanish, it should be Don.
