@@tkengels6652 Usually the young people will know English. If you travel to smaller towns and villages, it might be harder, but still, if you're in touristy areas, people will speak English.

Though I just started to learn serbian few days ago for reason as frequent visitor to belgrade , but I find your Croatian language videos are very useful and well explained , I might need to make very little adjustment on words only between those two similar Languages ( Croatian Vs. Serbian ) . Keep it going 👍

Can you please explain to me why is "pomoći" and not "pomoć" is used for the following question and sentences? "Mogu li ti pomoći?", "Možete pomoći" and "Ne možete pomoći". Whereas why is "pomoć" and not "pomoći" is used for the following sentence and questions? "Trebaš pomoć", "Trebaš li pomoć?", "Kada trebaš pomoć?", "Zašto trebaš pomoć?" and"Tko treba pomoć?" Also, when you ask, "Mogu li ti pomoći?", why is the personal pronoun "ti" is used and not "te" or "tebe" (i.e. the accusative case)?

When you mention finding the root of the infinitive, can you further explain some sound changes like from "pisati" to "pišem" and "plakati" to "plačem"? I am fully aware that these changes are necessary and this, I think is called palatalisation. But for those who might not fully understand, could you please explain this?

The examples you gave are actually "jotacija" and it's the sound change where certain letters when combined with j change into č, š, etc. Pisati - pis + jem (s + j = š) - pišem Plakati - plak + jem (k + j = č) - plačem

Hi, It would be useful to know where the stress falls during conjugation as it can change. Eg. I think in the plural 3rd person the last syllable is stressed.

Hehhe, I'm assuming she said "dlake" or something. Dlaka is hair in general, but if you're referring to hair on your head as a whole, it's kosa. If you're talking about a hairdo, it's frizura. In her case she should have said. Lijepa frizura.
The nouns go through several changes in the sentence, depending on their role in the sentence. These are called the cases. Check out the videos about the Croatian cases, it will be clearer. For the particular question, you asked, check the video about the Accusative case.
Nominativ =mačka Genitiv = mačke Dativ = mački Akusativ =mačku Vocativ = mačko Locativ =mački Instrumental= mačkom I can only imagine how complicated must be for you.Good luck!

The stress is the same though the conjugation of the Present Tense, only the endings of words are different. Normally the first syllable is stressed.
