I remember when I was 18 I went to this apartment in hillcrest in San Diego. And chad muska was there. I had gone over there a few times and the dude was always cool to me. We made call to some porn line on their phone one day busting up just having a good time. 22 years ago, it's good to see him doing well.
More of a cool guy than I expected. And finally I know why I never see him skate anymore. I fractured my back twice trying to be a pro snowboarder in the 90's, so I know the type of problems he's dealing with.
Damn i feel for muska and his surgery.. i grew up watching him skate and shit and i had to quit skating about 10 years ago maybe 11 years ago due to a spinal surgery and would of gone paralyzed if i kept skating.. was so bad that doctor said if i kept even looking upwards towards the sky i could of gone paralyzed.. damn how i missed growing up with these guys
ruptured disk and 2 slipped disks ended my skateboarding life. yea the pain sucks but knowing one wrong twist or fall can put you in a wheelchair for life very easily is scary
Chad, I know You are a Christian. I saw people who were healed by God, all You have to do is go to healing at Church service, pray and ask others to pray for You, I know there are happening things like these today in US :) Many people are healed by God and are pshysically moving freely! I had a great healing, I thought that was a miracle, which I would never believe, but now its OK! :) I hope so much that You will skate some day again. ;) You are a true inspiration for many skaters! Ah shit a fully slipped disk... mines are not fully slipped yet, but there's multiple and the pain is similar as they're squeezing the nerves. Started in 2007 at work. It's not enough for surgery the doctors say, but physical training alone doesn't do the job and I'm sick of taking meds and getting injections which barely have an effect. Combined with a failed knee surgery in 2015, I'm pretty much reduced to just rollin' around these days, but that's ok. a few years ago I couldn't even walk up stairs and my leg would get numb from ass to toe all the time. It really sucks and turns your life upside down. Hopefully the Muska will get better soon! Cheers!
