I just left this place. My wife and I stayed for 6 days for our anniversary. Had a swim out room and they came and cleaned the pool everyday. Best food was at el patio restaurant. Service was good and staff was very friendly. It's about 30-45 min away from downtown Cabo, but would definitely stay here again.
That tequila is AMAZING. They gave us a bottle at Secrets Maroma after we upgraded our UVC membership. How much did your buddy pay for TWO bottles? They wanted $75 A SHOT at El Patio at Secrets Maroma. Good buddy to have!
Yes for sure - he's a good buddy! You obviously pay a lot more on vacay than what you can get it for back home, but I want to say it was maybe a little over $300 each. We just did Secrets Maroma, it's awesome! I love the beach there!
That's great! They came around for us at the preferred club but it was only about once per hour, at the most. And with a group of people, it just wasn't enough. I'm glad they took good care of yall. It's a great resort
Did you request the upgrade at the resort over email? I just received some prices today to upgrade and am wondering if it will be cheaper if I wait until arrival.
No we did not request the upgrade. They sent an upgrade request automatically through email, this is something secrets does. It's a bid system where you pick if you want the upgrade and then they confirm back with you if you got it.
Another thing that really works well and has the bartenders jumping over one another to get to you is tipping with $2 bills. I've had bartenders pass up $5 and $10 bills for the $2 bills we tip.
Yes I've heard of that one, but haven't tried it yet. Have heard they love it but also heard that some people won't take them because they don't think it's real money. I'll have to give it a try - thanks for the tip... no pun intended 😂
I'm not sure. It does look like there is possibly an option through a company called Resort Pass, but you might reach out directly to the resort to check and see. It looks like it would be a long drive to the resort and back so you might check to see if that fits your plans also.

So different from our experience, at the preferred pool we had servers coming by faster than we were drinking 🤷🏼♀️ but we do tip constantly.

Do you know if they allow day passes for cruisers ?
