How in God's name i've never seen your videos before. What an amazing review! Great bike , great editing , just brilliant! Actually , i think i'll just play it one more time.
Brilliant vlog and review I think you just made me want want also. Il be visiting my nearest BMW dealership to book a test ride very soon. Nice one chops
Good review. I ordered 1 yesterday and the dealer knocked 1000 off. I agree it's still a lot of money but they are all priced the same nowadays Yamaha wouldn't knock me £1 off. They also gave me good money for my gen 2
BTW I watched your entire review, I don't normally stick around for videos this long but I totally empathise with everything you said, having only just done this Saturday it was a welcome trip back down memory lane. I want one too!
BMW should pay you a commission, Lamb Chops!!! - just paid for the white/blue/red model literally an hour ago :) April/May delivery. Certainly influenced me after your vlog!!! Thk you!
I've watched a lot of reviews and this is definitely up there as one of my favorites. Made me wince and laugh in roughly equal measure ...just as well the speedo is configured to KPH ;)
hi i found your channel on yt with s1000rr review. I have a question about valve knock in the range of 2500 - 4000 rpm, is this normal for this model? and another question about slipper clutch. When you suddenly press the clutch and take off the gas, you hear a strange thump? Thank you for your answer
Excellent video. This S1000RR at video has some performance device like Power Commander, Rapid Bike, etc or this bike at this video is fully stock? Thanks
Great video. I’m looking to buy a 2016 RR in these same colors! I love the white/blue motaradd colors and not sure about the red/white. Love the Bahnstormer decals!! Very cool. Can you buy them? Thanks??
Nice review John, I was climbing all over one on Friday at the bike show. I've got to say that I would have the S1000R if I could ever afford it and like you my bike is a Sunday toy so justifying one to the boss would be fun. The reason I don't tend to test ride bikes is if it's better than my current bike I will spend the next couple of months wishing I had it lol. There is also the clinical feel to some of the new techno heavy bikes out now which seem to lack soul. Try pinning the throttle on a dry or damp road on my bike and your likely to feel close to god pretty sharpish. Then you have the other issue, it's not special like your Blade for instance a true one off which only you have.
I was there friday too!! We keep missing each other :) agree with everything youve said, it's why I never test rode anything last year as didn't want to be left wanting lol. Would never trade the blade against anything new, if there is a new Fireblade next year I would be very tempted mind as a second bike .... :)
Great review! You mentioned you could commute or even your on this bike. Is the riding position a lot more upright vs the R1 etc? I'm looking for a bike like this and if it's not leaned over too much I think it's the one. Thanks again for the awesome review!!!
Thanks Mark, it's a great all round bike, you could certainly tour on it no problem at all. R1 is a much more race focused bike, the BMW feel refined to ride and a real mile muncher
nice to see someone riding one of these on the open road, not pissing round in town and bleating on about the shifter endlessly. Is the suspension really that good ?? thanks
Thanks Kevin, the suspension is great I would have to have that version of the bike. I would like to retest in the summer to push it harder though in the corners but in the conditions it was fantastic!
+The Incredible Sulk very hard to say.. it was bloody quick and fairly comfortable, not too different really to the suzuki.. I need to try one again next year as a reminder. Still a very good bike
Not that I remember seemed was very smooth, it's very very comfy for a sports bike, pegs are a little high but I suspect some rear sets would sort that if it was a problem
Nice review LCR I will have to wait until they are around 8 yrs old before I can afford one lol Well unless I can sell one of my kids but they may come in handy for Kidneys etc later so best not pmsl All the show offs with too much cash will have these down my local bike joint like they did when the first one came out. Felt sorry for them in the end as they ended up like Clit bikes lol
***** Im in the same boat as you Flibbert, cant afford these new toys. Understand what you saying about selling the kids but decided to put one of mine on Ebay after all :)
+Island728 Vibration is present at lower revs (around 4000rpm) and a lot of heat on the pegs & ankles at slow speeds in warm weather when the fan comes on.
Lamb Chop Rides Yes I ride but need my licence, with that bike it would last approx 2 days... I have an MT01 and a GXR1100 Fighter in use.. And a CBR400rr and a GSXR400r and an XT250 :) not in use
If you think the S1000 has a lot of buttons don't get a Goldwing because they have more buttons than a keyboard ;) Not to keen on the headlights but I could get used to them. Apart from that I would be torn in choosing this or a Panigale :/
Ethan Senior Hope to ride the Panni soon Ethan, I hope its not better than this as I dont think my bank balance could take it!! Dont worry I dont intend to get a Gold wing ;p
My dads got a Goldwing 1800. He asked me to start and I couldn't figure which one it was :O Ended up being the reverse button to start! If I was to get a Ducati it would be a 748 or something similar. New ones are waaaay to pricey :/
Ethan Senior Yeah that's the problem with all these new bikes. Dont think I could ever afford a new one.. I wont be able to have one until they are old and all that electronic wizardry is bust and playing up haha
Did you ride that Saturday? If so, my balls were on it first! It really does feel reliable and pushable doesn't it? I am a complete novice and I had a great time on it, after I felt like I'd tamed a beast and was much more confident on my own bike. I had it in "rain" mode the "entire time" because it was *lashing* it down the entire time and the back end still went on me. My review if you can call it that is a lot shorter though. PS:I hate the headlights too and the swingarm is fugly.
Southern Fried Yes works very well SF, found it a little tight when changing up from 4th 5th 6th but the guys said it was probably me not releasing it properly.. How did you find it? I loved the down shift blipper best :)
Lamb Chop Rides I found it got a bit iffy going up from 2nd to 3rd unless the revs were matched which IMO defeats the object of a QS. Other than that it was great. I used it all the time and only pulled in the clutch lever when coming to a sotp. I didn't do a whole lot of sitting still on it though. Heated grips were nice but I wear summer gloves all year round anyway and don't feel the cold. (I'm a Viking)
Southern Fried haha yeah I did find some issues with the QS to, probably a case of just getting used to it I think.. Im also a summer gloves man but only ride in the summer as Im no Viking :)
Nice review. I still don't like the looks. The front end and all the bodywork creases, make it look like a botox addict. But as a bike, I can't argue that it seems to tick all the other boxes (I'd love an auto-blipper too!) And glad to see you put in the Goonies reference :D
Chris McEvoy Yeah I prefer it to the old one but not sure I could live with it day to day.. All depends how good the other 2015 wonder bikes are to ride as this is superb to ride. Yeah had to use your Goonies idea cheers :)
Holy mother of ballbags... I have two weeks off soon and this is on my list of 'to do'. Can't bloody wait. Watched it all, loved it! Thank you sir, will now go to bed and have dreams about sexual blippers :D
Ah I envy you, keep thinking about that dam bike, think I need to get mine back on the road before I do something stupid! Enjoy it, make sure you have the camera rolling of course :)
I feel the same when I think of buying an expensive bike, can I spend all that money on a big boys toy :-$ you can buy a nice car for that sort of money.
Where I come from, i can buy 2 s1krrs for the price of 1 Toyota Corolla. With the new taxes on big/'luxury' bikes this year, the panigale R is just marginally cheaper then the Corolla. This tax has made the s1krr dearer by $10-$12k. Even a 400cc bike is considered 'luxury'. Crazy!
Nice review and awesome editing. I've been in love with the S1000RR since 2010 and this one is fantastic.
Thanks 650, yes this one is rather special :)
How in God's name i've never seen your videos before. What an amazing review! Great bike , great editing , just brilliant! Actually , i think i'll just play it one more time.
U boxed mine last week and get it this Thursday! Excited. Thanks again for your awesome review Lamb Chop Rides!!!
Exciting times!! Awesome machine still have a hankering for one :)
Now that is a proper review , when you can see how scary quick it is , thanks
Just bought the 2015 this week, just waiting on delivery. Thank you for your review you are quite entertaining and educational at the same time.
How did u like it and what bike u have now?
Brilliant vlog and review I think you just made me want want also. Il be visiting my nearest BMW dealership to book a test ride very soon.
Nice one chops
jorge brazao Thanks Jorge, I highly recommend to book a test ride :)
Southern Fried Thanks SF, it was 50 mins long I had to cut out a lot!! I just couldn't shut up about it haha
Lamb Chop Rides I know the feeling mate, bloody awesome machine. Sorting a ride on the 2015 GSX-R1000 next.
Quick shifters are the dogs bollocks.....though I've not had the pleasure of an auto blipper, I'm sure that would please me too. Awesome review mate
I reckon it's one of the nicest standard can's going, especially that you can remove the baffle
Yes not bad for a standard can Paul, sounds bloody lovely!
Lamb Chop Rides it's great to see a review that some one is giving it some beans and not in the best conditions
BMW should pay you a commission, Lamb Chops!!! - just paid for the white/blue/red model literally an hour ago :) April/May delivery.
Certainly influenced me after your vlog!!! Thk you!
Haha brilliant !! Thanks Mark, your one lucky bugger :)
Thanks. Yes I'm lucky. I'll have to go easy on this bike :). I'm riding a KTM 1190 Adventure now and less experienced on a sportsbike.
I'm going to make sure I own one of those at some point in my life
Yes same here Chris!
whats the song on the intro called also great video man!
Entertaining review my friend. Thanks for the post! The 2015 double R looks like a brilliant scooter! Subscribed 👍🏼
Cheers Marxutube :)
I've watched a lot of reviews and this is definitely up there as one of my favorites. Made me wince and laugh in roughly equal measure ...just as well the speedo is configured to KPH ;)
Bmw one of the best bikes on the market
Can only imagine going from my great old k1200 to that !

Cool sounds starting at 1:05...who is it?
Excellent video. This S1000RR at video has some performance device like Power Commander, Rapid Bike, etc or this bike at this video is fully stock?
Thanks
Hi Marcio, no completely stock bike only just run in.
Great review! Can you tell me the name of the song from minute 1:30 forward?
Great video. I’m looking to buy a 2016 RR in these same colors! I love the white/blue motaradd colors and not sure about the red/white. Love the Bahnstormer decals!! Very cool. Can you buy them? Thanks??
How it was man im trying to get the same one! Thanks!!

That bikes fresh
Thanks Derek, love the channel btw :)
What song is that (on the 1:00 minute mark)?
Great review. What's the camera model you used to do this video?
Thanks
Thanks Rodolfo, it's a gopro hero 3 silver. Non plus model
Great review!
You mentioned you could commute or even your on this bike. Is the riding position a lot more upright vs the R1 etc?

I've not seen a better 2015 S1000RR Review
Thanks Max :)
Nice test Lamby ! But whats with that strobe thing that flashes when you nail it !? Could make for an interesting ride if you're epileptic !
Blackness Rides haha hello Blackness :) That's the shift light, it was set for the run in revs still at 8K. I just ignored it :)
Chopometer! Brilliant review. I would still prefer your blade over it tho
Thanks Steve :)
the first button right upward what use has?
You pressed it at the beginning of the video..
That was the heated grips I think Asmo
Chops looking back at this how would rate the '15 S1000rr against the lastest and greatest you rode now such as new blade , GSXR and RSV4?
+The Incredible Sulk very hard to say.. it was bloody quick and fairly comfortable, not too different really to the suzuki.. I need to try one again next year as a reminder. Still a very good bike
Great vid mate!
Thanks Max :)
brilliant to do a live review
great bike for the track, not sure why its got cruise and heated grips?. its a race bike!
any numbness in the hands or arms... how would u rate the ergonomics of it?
Not that I remember seemed was very smooth, it's very very comfy for a sports bike, pegs are a little high but I suspect some rear sets would sort that if it was a problem
Nice review LCR I will have to wait until they are around 8 yrs old before I can afford one lol Well unless I can sell one of my kids but they may come in handy for Kidneys etc later so best not pmsl All the show offs with too much cash will have these down my local bike joint like they did when the first one came out. Lamb Chop Rides The worship of materialism over flesh and blood...The decay of the western world is showing it's true colours.
Any heat or vibration issue? please reply, thanks!
Nope not that stand out Island, it was a year ago I rode it though! Was pretty smooth and no heat issues.
+Island728 Vibration is present at lower revs (around 4000rpm) and a lot of heat on the pegs & ankles at slow speeds in warm weather when the fan comes on.
You should take one out next summer chops I took one out and it blow me away
5:06 you went into light speed.
Lol yeah :)
Brilliant, I enjoyed watching that and thanks goodness I cannot afford one, neither money wise or licence wise LOL
Simon Parker Thanks Simon, you don't ride yourself then?
Lamb Chop Rides Yes I ride but need my licence, with that bike it would last approx 2 days...
I have an MT01 and a GXR1100 Fighter in use.. And a CBR400rr and a GSXR400r and an XT250 :) not in use
Yeah re-read your comments Simon realised that's what you meant haha. Quite a fleet you have there too! :)'
The "high guys" headlights....... Bahahahahaha! Perfect.
If you think the S1000 has a lot of buttons don't get a Goldwing because they have more buttons than a keyboard ;) Not to keen on the headlights but I could get used to them. Apart from that I would be torn in choosing this or a Panigale :/

Can someone name the top.best full exhaust system that gives the most hp to the bmw s1000rr
+Rafael Rodriguez not many.. stock one flows pretty darn good....
Damn!!!! The stock exhaust sounds damn nice..8)
Yes one of the best sounding stock cans for sure!
When you going to review R1?
Yamaha not very friendly about lending me a bike to try unfortunately and no local dealers willing to lend them..
Did you ride that Saturday? If so, my balls were on it first! It really does feel reliable and pushable doesn't it? I am a complete novice and I had a great time on it, after I felt like I'd tamed a beast and was much more confident on my own bike. PS:I hate the headlights too and the swingarm is fugly.
It was last Wednesday SF, so my balls were there first :) Will have a look at your review
Lamb Chop Rides Ah jolly good. The QS is really good isn't it? That was my favourite bit, and the poppity pop exhaust.
Southern Fried Yes works very well SF, found it a little tight when changing up from 4th 5th 6th but the guys said it was probably me not releasing it properly.. How did you find it? I loved the down shift blipper best :)

who country this vídeo. thamks
It's the UK Douglas.

Nice bike
which you prefer this or rsv4?
+kion jub has to be the RSV4 for me! 😍😍
I think the smaller headlamp ruins it a bit :s
Yeah would prefer two headlights the same.. Think most would!
You could try and add stickers above the headlights, making them look the same size. Or does that ruin anything?
Wow.
I thought you were gonna say "you can poo on it"....Well yh I guess you can.
Im Dead Silence haha, well I guess that's the sort of review some would like to see.. Perverts! :)
New one plz
Next week video review of the new one 😁
Did it really take you to the end of the ride to decide you love it? Haha
Haha well no :)
Wow, you really put a lot of effort into your reviews. Still don't like the looks of it, but when you've 200 HP at the flick of your wrist who cares?
Thanks Banana, glad you noticed :) yeah you forget the looks when the wrist is flicked lol
I'll have to show the misses the camera crew @17.37
;^)
+Glen Whyte haha she thinks this is Top Gear your watching 😂😂
Your typo: Tour
Just drive a cheap car for daily and then justify the 15500 on that beast
What a bike choppsy
gixxerollie Indeed it is, loved it have to say.
And I've finally got myself one, Motorsport
Unboxed :)
I riding bmw whole year long not good bike;not character;i just feel the gsxr but little bit powerful
I feel the same when I think of buying an expensive bike, can I spend all that money on a big boys toy :-$ you can buy a nice car for that sort of money.
Yep, buddy just bought the Gsx-s1000 as preferred to have some change in his pocket.. 15k is just to much money for me!
Lamb Chop Rides Good choice the like the look of the GSX-S 1000 looks like a fun bike ;)

Video made me sick... sorry.. to much movement...
