I really quite enjoyed this, more than I thought I would. It felt like a grandfather sharing his experiences with me haha and honestly I am very impressed by the inclusivity for the disabled back then. I remember doing research for an assignment and mobility with dignity was an important aspect of their concerns. The way the pride and dignity of our disabled community was brought up here was really impressive for me because it’s something that is usually overlooked. Also I’m pleasantly surprised by him openly talking about how his wife supported him when he was unable to find a job, and he even called himself a kept man !! HAHA truly no toxic masculinity here too, which I appreciate. Thank you for sharing all of these with us, I find them very valuable, with the election or not!!

I like it that Dr Tan still has the dedication and energy to do what he does. But I need to hear the contradictions as implied by Dr Tan of the present government. I feel that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is a kinder man than Mr Lee Kuan Yew and also just as dedicated to the success of Singapore. I am not able to see what the present government has done wrong, deliberately.
