With all due respect, you should address the criticisms directly, instead of labeling everyone who criticizes you as a "hater", which is a meaningless and juvenile term.
You certainly have every right to address the issues with this game in any way you wish, and nobody should be telling someone how they are supposed to react, but it's perfectly fair for people to question you about anything regarding the things you choose to cover on your channel.
I fully agree, far too often when people voice a different opinion or constructive criticism they are labeled "haters" which is a blanket statement and isn't true so I agree with you. Since I agree with you does that simply make me a "lover"??? 😭😭😭😭

Hey Radman, I have learned from running many races that if you repair damage in many cases it causes you to lose a lap each time. Thus, with damage turned ON it is important to avoid any serious contact. Also, try using steering assist on MEDIUM, and traction control on LOW for a better racing feel, and less issues with spinning out off contact with AI.
steering assist is bad in general, itll fight everything you try to do
Radman I don't if you already figured this out, but the paintscheme changes based on the race that it runs.
I also recommend staying on champion difficulty, without the excess tire wear it's very even compared to extreme. But unless you can consistently avoid getting actual damage, I'd recommend just visual damage.
The AI is horrendous bruh, they literally run 60 straight laps at a mile and a half oval side by side, plus they ignored radman the whole time. This game... literally the worst NASCAR game ever..

I’ve noticed if you pit under caution and fix your car max it puts you a lap down because in real life if you pit and fix your car you are Atleast going 1-2 laps down

I applaud you for keeping this going and constructive. I would have probably quit by now and tell msg to get back to me when they fix their stuff. I honestly think I’m having more fun with heat 5 that I bought for $6 than you are with this game. And I even totally get all the heat hate and complaints now that I didn’t understand just watching game play before
Honestly I think Champion and Visual Difficulty will make races more exciting and exhilarating to watch.

@@kwestwood16 Go to the settings in the main menu and it carries into career mode. Not sure if that only works on pc, but that does work for me.

I don't know if it's the Hendrick 48 or not, but Atlanta is actually a moderately okay track for me. The AI still suck eggs, but as long as I get the fuck away from the AI and try my damndest to slingshot I can actually have a somewhat exciting race. It's not outstandingly great by any definition of the word, but Atlanta on pc wasn't maddening enough to make me chuck my controller.
I say visual damage only and champion difficulty. But you need to have fun with it man. And I'm really glad you're feeling better.

I keep watching all of these other TH-camrs having so many issues with the game, I’m so thankful my career mode hasn’t had as many issues lol. Because I *know* they’re there lol
Champion difficulty, no tire and fuel wear, visual damage because the is going to end updating at 1.50
I definitely noticed pit stops are now broken. Going multiple La ps down for no reason and this wasn't an issue before. I now have to run career at 5% length to avoiding Pitt stops.

I give feedback to MSG after every patch but they haven't fixed a single thing I've brought to their attention. It's frustrating because I, like you and many others, am trying to do my part to help this game but I just feel like I'm constantly ignored and we never get any feedback on "big patches" until it's released, and the patch notes are just bullshit that doesn't fix any of the core issues with the game.
Giving feedback to them feels like talking to a brick wall. Absolutely useless.
I’ve become a huge fan of this channel over the last 3 months and I would say scrap Nascar Ignition for the time being and just worry about nascar thunder 2004. Then come back to ignition once more patches drop.

The last update for campaign they added speed ratings for teams. For example if you race for Hendrick you get a speed boost where if you race for Rick Ware your car is a slower car.

I mean, I usually hit the wall aggressively hard regardless of the quality of the racing game, my biggest problem now is the AI seem to magnetize to me and it's infuriating. They also check up on tracks they don't need to. I can pretty much go full throttle at Kansas, but the damn AI check up way too hard.
Honestly I dont mind visual damage, with champion difficulties could be amazing to watch

Not a hater but this game is broken. It's still broken. On the set ups on Xbox One I can't even set up the car. Both presets are stuck on lose and tight. I rather go back to Nascar Heat 5. At least the cautions worked, stages work, AI used different lines. Pit stops worked. It's ridiculous at this point. I still have it but not playing as much. It's sad when Forza is a bit better than most.
I don't think any patch they come out with will fix this game. They patch 3 things and break 5 more lol. This game is a lost cause. They better start working on and testing a new one FULLY before releasing it.
@@generallee1699 exactly. I tried the new patch and I didn't find anything they did fixed. Not what we been asking for anyways. The spotter still gets the pitting times wrong, no rear view mirror. I'm gonna wait next time before I go out and buy it right off.

No one is asking you to rage. All people want you and all content creators to do is to be honest about the game. You can criticize a game and developers for in my opinion is the worst sports game to ever be launched. Saying they are going to fix this game isn’t being honest. This game is broken beyond repair and people will have to wait until NASCAR 22 but most likely NASCAR 23 for the potential for a good game. There are games almost 20 years older than this game and they blow this game out of the water. You don’t have to rage to criticize this game. But you have to be honest about the state of this game and the game moving forward. You don’t seem to get it.

24:28 you never said the AI were good, but before your video titled "Meeting Jeff Gordon! Talking With Motorsport Games | NASCAR Phoenix Race Weekend" (the one after you got back from the championship weekend), you barely ever complained about the AI. In that video (at the 14:36 mark) you mentioned how MSG themselves were open with issues in the game and they mentioned how they were unhappy with the AI and you said that you thought the AI was decent at some tracks and not so good at others and that MSG was more critical of the AI than you were. After that point, you became critical of the AI but not much before that. I think thats where people got the idea of you liking the AI because you barely complained about it before even when in your video titled "PLAYING NASCAR 21: IGNITION (HILARIOUS GAMEPLAY)" which was your first time playing Ignition, at the 16:13 mark at lap 2 turn 1 in your very first race, the AI were already acting like you were not there and giving you no room and you mentioned it very little before the turning point in your meeting jeff gordon video where you mentioned that you found out MSG was critical of their own AI.
Sorry if this was a very long winded answer but while of course this does not mean you thought the AI was good, instances like this maybe was what led some people to believing you thought so.

If you pass below any line the game won’t give you the spot it’s like every line is a double yellow so I would have to give every spot I passed back and try again and it works if you just give the position back

That and the fact that patches has just become the excuse to release an incomplete game. Almost every big time game that has been released in the last couple years is not even close to being a complete full game.

After Gameflying it, it soft locked in Career Mode when I got to Atlanta. Heat 5 is so much better than this game. I think people are just tired of the "It has potential" excuse. They had two whole years. There's little to no excuse for this being bad. They knew it was bad and didn't care. You shouldn't need three patches to fix this and it still barely work and having basic missing features.

I honestly like them on restricted plate racing because they are more forgiving . But at other race tracks they are not . They need to fix the ai and the contact. But they need to fix the lights in some areas of the track at night . Big issues I am seeing .
awesome video on Nascar 21 and id say do visual damage and keep it on Champion difficulty. Some of the night races look werid lighting wise i know overcast kinda helps making it a little more dark and its odd how the ai do that on pc and its odd how your car pings off like that i dont seem them do that on a series S But ive had to restart my career due to a bug on las vegas that makes me load into the game but phased into the floor in the pit area.

Biggest problem with the game for me is just the AI, I can live with everything else but I can’t get through a race when the AI just doesn’t act like your there and force you into the grass and just don’t give a f in general

I figured out that the reason you’re not gaining position is because of when the AI sent you into the grass it doesn’t count the lap. It’s happened to me

You went laps down because you had damage. Just like in real life. You'd go laps down on caution laps due to fixing damage. This is an arcade game that wants to be a sim. Which is why when you tap someone, it's easier to have your car upset and more easy to wreck. I wish this game was a full sim and not so much of an arcade game. They are heading in that direction. But they are still far from being a sim, but have sim like features. This isn't like NASCAR Heat, where you can pit under caution and have all your damage fixed and be able to stay on the lead lap. Need to try harder not to hit the wall and force passes. That's how you're losing most of your races.
