The photo was just a mirror selfie where the side of the phone was warped but no one could even figure out what she edited bc she looked exactly the same as her red carpet pics. It's assumed that she was using one of those camera apps that turns a filter on automatically (like Snow) and she forgot to turn it off or didn't notice. Not a big deal imo. There are some other idols editing their selfies until I almost can't recognize them.

Fansites, Photoshoots, MVs, TikToks and even some fancams....everything is soooo heavily edited. When you think about it these girls have countless plastic surgeries, the best skincare, a lot of makeup, colored lenses, best stylists, heavy filters and photoshop...its a bit unfair that we keep comparing ourselves to them when not even them are happy with the way they look even after all the procedures and being called top visuals in korea.
Its a bit unfair people are only picking on winter, karina is a lot more exaggerated and I don't see anyone talking about it. She is beautiful but a lot of her CGI beauty is quite literally cgi. Even fansites edit a lot her photos, she looks a lot different in real life (and in my opinion more pretty and less artificial). In real life and with no makeup and contact lenses, her eyes are quite small and wide set...only her chin look oddly pointy but the rest looks quite like a normal looking pretty girl you would see on down the street.
Now imagine these girls constantly being bombarded with heavily edited pictures of them while people compliment them and then they go on the mirror and see that they don't look like that, it's normal that they feel the pressure to meet those expectations. They are used to see themselves with all those layers.
I think putting those labels on kpop visuals is extremely pressuring like they aren't allowed to look like normal human beings and need to look ethereal all the time when nowadays the main responsibile factor for it is digital editing.
Honestly this is why I preferred 2nd gen visuals...they looked really pretty despite having flaws, they were so beautiful even the flaws looked beautiful

They all had a jawline reduction (maybe not Ning Ning 🤔) and most of them had a nose job, it’s common in Korea to have surgery before 18 yo so looking at predebut pic doesn’t make sens anymore but you can definitely find pictures where you can see that they had bigger jawline and a bigger nose, those procedures are very common in Korea and most Korean celebrities had them, not only Aespa . it’s getting more and more difficult to spot natural beauty among K-pop idol
