Its not easy to sing high notes for everyone but for freddy it was so easy

You'd be surprised as to what is possible for the human voice when you practice enough. Sure there are genetic hurdles we all face but with some focus and a little leverage I'm sure even you could forge your own into something special (as long as you don't try to imitate or liken your voice to someone else) make yourself the greatest "you" we already had the greatest Freddie Mercury. You may the next who knows

Actually the notes weren't easy for Freddie to hit live, since he was actually a baritone, just singing in tenor range and when you listen to any live performance of this song (including live aid), you'll see he never even really tried to sing the highest note in the chorus, it was always the drummer Roger Taylor (a natural tenor) backing him. It doesn't mean it was out of his range (he did sing it in the studio), I think he just didn't want to risk it live.
By the way, it was 4 octaves, not 5 ;) But it's not only range that matteres. Roger Taylor, who I mentioned earlier, at his prime had an even wider scale, and though he was good, no one ever concidered him better than Freddie. Freddie's voice was unique thanks to many other factors, like it's power or his amazing vibrato.

@@goldbrickstudios6903 take example the original key of the song, the Bb’s are the highest notes in chest (besides the c5 in the second chorus he sang in falsetto) if it’s a half step down it would make it an A4. Still a very high note even for Freddie, half of the time Freddie would do drop phrasing on those notes, here he seems to sustain them no problem. Freddie does have a wider range but songs like dont stop believin and living on a prayer are way harder to sing
@@-spencemanct-4559 Living on a prayer I can see being harder, but Don't Stop Believing I can sing without using falsetto. There is a Queen song called Show Must Go On, that is very straining and Freddie sang it while he was actively dying in '91. And it is a really cool song too so I recommend you listen to it, it's a great song.

@@footballlover6508 not really he was was just really good at manipulating his voice he would very rarely hit notes that were hard, he’s an amazing musician don’t get me wrong his simple ways with creating music was very groundbreaking but he’s not the best vocalist and not even one of which.

Still sounds amazing after 20 years, He hits harder notes in songs liker wake me up when september ends, 21 guns or roshambo. His "simple ways of making music" made him very rich and successful and im sure you could never come close to that
@@no-ln3tf no need to be so hostile man, I’m allowed to criticise musicians however I never called him a bad musician not once, just explained how Green days music is relevantly simple, tre cools drumming is the trickiest out of all musicians in the band I’m just being honest, most of green days guitar is power chords and he just has very punk vocals which are relatively easy, no need to get so mad 😂

I absolutely LOVE Green Day. I wish they could live and perform forever lol. I was lucky enough to see them in San Diego on the Revolution Radio tour. It was the best 2 hrs of my life. They were going to come back a couple of months later and I wanted to go again and my wife said NO. Let me just say she is no longer my wife.

I just spent 4 in a half minutes of my life listening to Billie Joe Armstrong Transform into Freddie Mercury and I never regret a single second of it.
Nobody can replace Freddie. I agree. But unfortunatly he's dead now for more than 30 years, and the only thing we can do is honour him and his music. Fortunatly some artists like Green Day take the effort to honour him, by playing his music. And they did it their own way. And it sounds great!!!!
